This review is based on my experience on 2/10/2025 at 8:14 pm.
I arrived at Target’s drive-up area and notified them through the app that I was there for my order. A few minutes later, the order was handed to me through the passenger window. After placing the order on the passenger seat, I checked the contents to ensure everything was included. I’ve had prior experiences where items were missing or out of stock, so I wanted to double-check. Upon inspection, I noticed that the bleach spray had leaked all over the bag. Since the delivery employee had already left, I took the bag inside to request a replacement.
Jen was the cashier at the returns & exchanges desk. I explained the situation, and she informed me that I would need to be refunded to a store card and then she would renter the items. She asked another employee to gather the two items while I waited, and she processed the return and new purchase from her side. While waiting, I noticed that my Vikings sweatshirt had been stained with bleach. I asked Jen if she was a manager, and she clarified that Logan, the employee retrieving the items, was the manager. When Logan returned, I explained the situation, mentioning that my sweatshirt had been damaged due to the issue with the bleach bottle. He offered me a $5 gift card as compensation. I asked for his manager’s contact information, and he wrote down the name Ellie on a piece of paper, but did not provide a phone number. Jen gave me the store’s main contact number when I asked for more details.
After reaching out to Ellie, I introduced myself and asked if Logan had mentioned my experience. Ellie confirmed he had but mentioned that Logan described me as "aggressive." I clarified that I was frustrated, but not aggressive, and expressed my surprise that the situation wasn’t handled more effectively. I also mentioned the bleach damage to my sweatshirt. Ellie explained that since the incident occurred outside of the store’s property, Target was not responsible for the damage. I questioned this explanation, as I was still on the property when the incident occurred, but she reiterated that they couldn’t take responsibility. She asked what I was expecting from the situation, and I explained I was hoping for an apology and resolution. Ellie stated she would inform her staff to prevent future occurrences, but she did not offer a resolution for my damaged sweatshirt. When I requested the regional manager's contact information, she said she could not provide it, instead directing me to call guest relations at 800-440-0680.
While I understand that accidents can happen, I was disappointed by the lack of a direct apology or resolution. The overall handling of the situation felt dismissive, and I believe further training on customer service and conflict resolution could benefit the management team. Based on this experience, I am hesitant to shop at this particular location in the future.

A pretty standard Target. Nice layout and spacious…it feels like it has no soul though, which was peculiar.

Love being your own cashier? Then this is the target for you. Never more than 3 cashiers open out of 25 lines. Boar’s head meat used in the deli that’ll make you ill. Have given feedback on both of these many times and ignored. Shop at Lunds instead.

Target has really changed. Costco has much better selection and deals, so I go there now instead. It’s been a great change!

Terrible long wait in lines.
.under staffed.
Dirty restrooms
The store is filthy !
No one cleans up anything....
Can't believe managers keep their jobs with such terrible "presentation" standards!

Do not go to this store even remotely close to closing time, they will not announce it at all, and you’ll be left wondering why the lights were turned off and you’re unable to check out.

The store is great and well stocked for everyday items! My only concern was the 45 minute checkout we had. Cashier Rob, seemed to be intoxicated while ringing us up. He was very shaky , while ringing up each item. We get that some people have disabilities and we accept that. But unfortunately Rob doesn’t belong in the front end of the store. He would look at one item , scan it and take a whole minute to think about where to place it in the bag!! Like it’s just winter gloves, toss them in. I will never return to Edina Target ever again because of Rob

Since when do we get charged bag fees in MN? It's a small charge, but I've never seen signage posted in any target about this.

I called this place like 6 times and they hung up on me without picking up all six times. They must be understaffed or something. Hire more people or stop running a business! I'm so sick of not being able to get any service at any store because these stupid corporations are trying to run everything on a skeleton crew so they can keep from having to pay anyone.

There was an old nightmare of a woman at self checkout. The whole purchase she listed the items as we scanned them and hovered over us. She wouldn’t stop talking about the five cent bags when we said that we were going to pay for the whopping 3 bags we used.
I’ve never been treated like that in a store before.

Lost my wallet today at Edina Target. Called customer service twice and they said they didn’t have it without even looking. I called twice again later, and they hung up on me. Bad costumer service.

Don't care for the music they added in certain areas. More peaceful way it was before. My sister and I aren't loving the new upgrade. Don't care for the design and it appears too much like a Wal-Mart, too industrial the setting.

It's Halloween and the Halloween section is already gone and the candy has been replaced with Christmas theme. This is ridiculous. I get that waiting until the last minute isn't great but I would still expect to be able to buy Halloween candy ON Halloween.

Bullseye! Come to Target, get nice things. I love how the video games are cheaper than GameStop, or Best Buy. Paying $50 there vs paying $75 at GameStop or Best Buy? Hm. The actual Target Circle has unfortunately been disappointing, however, I will always come back for the newer more reasonably priced games.
The staff is polite, Starbucks is good. Honestly, my biggest complaint is Target Circle. I miss getting money off. Oh well.
The men's pants are great for a variety of shapes and sizes. Unfortunately the women's jeans seem to be built for giants around 6 ft tall. It's too bad, because I think that they have a lot of cute styles.
I like the inexpensive decor. I got a cute gingerbread plushie for $1.25, and a bird plush for $5. Worth it! I also like their elevated home decor overall.
That's mostly what I shop for. I will be back.
Men's jeans on left, and women's on right.
