I want to praise highly the superb service that Kathy Cashman provides at Walgreens on Vernon Ave. in Edina, MN. She works in the Cosmetics area and is the most knowledgeable and helpful of anyone that I have ever encountered in any cosmetics area. Made appointment for testing, but they weren’t ready at the time of appointment. Had to go to the back of the line and wait again (after already waiting to get to drive through window).

After consistently terrible service at Inver Grove Heights Walgreens I decided to transfer my prescriptions to Edina . Brenda at the pharmacy was so helpful and went above and beyond to provide great service. It’s a relief to get the medication that I depend on without a lot of hassle!!

This walgreens has always been very helpful! They call when it's time for a refill and are very helpful in filling all of my family's medications. Lorenzo has gone above and beyond helping me multiple times to figure out prescriptions. 5 stars for the pharmacy.

The store is grungy, unkempt, and filled with deferred maintenance. The staff is surly and dismissive. Worse still, the pharmacy department shouts out private information so that everyone in the store can hear your personal business. Embarrassingly bad.

I rarely do reviews, but today I was treated so awful I decided to take the time to write one as soon as I left the Walgreens on Vernon Ave in Edina. I went in for a card. I waited in line and a young man with dark hair and a black mask on rang me out. First he was rude and impatientwhen I was trying to pay with my card.. He actually yelled at me because I couldn't hear what he said with his mask on. Then he asked me if I wanted a bag and I said yes HE THREW IT AT ME. The person in line behind me was as shocked as I was. I WILL NEVER RETURN.

HORRIBLE system for covid-19 drive thru testing. I had an appointment at 3:45 got there at 3:30-3:40 and they came up to me saying they are having a difficult time processing paperwork/didn’t finish their paperwork they needed to do. They told me to go back to the line which would be another 30 mins and threatened to call the police. The manager is just as bad didn’t take in account that I took the time out of my day to come out with a scheduled confirmed testing time. Never go there for testing they don’t care and they are to lazy to finish THEIR OWN WORK!

Hate to see so many scathing reviews on here surrounding peoples experiences during COVID…You could go into any retailer and choose to complain about an employee who has their mask on incorrectly, and you chose Walgreens. Pitiful.In the words of a former employer, we are all figuring this out as we go, and we are all doing our best. Well, some of us, anyways…The people who work at Walgreens on Vernon in Edina serve a very overly-entitled community, and are constantly busy, both in-store and out, with their drive thru pharmacy services….I would suggest to all of the Karen’s in Edina, to try the drive thru if they are so concerned with what’s going on inside.You can buy overpriced convenient store make up at CVS or hundreds of other retailers, your business will not be missed at Walgreens on Vernon, and I hope the ADA gets as good of a chuckle as I did while reading a 1 star review from an anti masker.This has been my pharmacy for years, they have to deal with me twice a month, sometimes even more frequently than that, and the entire staff have been nothing but helpful and friendly, consistently, in their customer service and dedication to their community.These people are at such a greater risk and are so essential to the community they serve, it’s a SHAME none of you acknowledge that.5 stars, every time.They even give me a dog treat at the drive thru pharmacy for my 13 year old cocker spaniel, and it makes my days so bright.

I got my Covid booster shot plus my flu shot!! I feel good about it!!! Nice Walgreens!!! Looks much bigger inside!! The pharmacy was busy but the wait wasn’t to bad!!!

Once again, Walgreens lets me down. I was picking g up a prescription for a friend and here is how it went. I called ahead to be sure it was ready and how much it cost. 42.00 bucks they said, asked if they ran it through GoodRX . Yes, they said. I get there, thinking 42.00 was kinda high I asked the tech if he ran it thru GoodRX. Yep, I did, he says. I doubled checked my phone, it was 22.00 dollars on GoodRx. I show it to him. He says, thats not what we show here and proceeds to show me the receipt with proof he 'ran it thru' and rings it up. I tell him why are you charging me 42 when GoodRx says 22? He acts confused doesn't say much, but I persist. He says, well if you want to use Goodrx you need to show me. I said Well , I just did show you, but Let me pull it up again. I question why the price difference? He admits he used the Walgreens discount, not GoodRx, as he told me. He still standing there waiting for my credit card. I tell him I want the Goodrx price!! He acts surprised, walks away, goes in the back and I hear him grumbling to his colleague about the situation. After fumbling around (with the line growing behind me) he finally re rings it, and I pay. Caution you are getting the best deal possible at Walgreen on Vernon. Many mistakes made here. PS No apologies, no thank you, no have a nice day. Ugg.

Lorenzo in the pharmacy drive through is a wonderful asset to the store. He is super friendly, efficient and accurate in his work. A real pleasure to deal with. Walgreens has a great worker in him and I hope they know that!
