Should be zero stars. The pharmacy has incredibly rude staff who do not want to help you in any way. They talk to the customers like they are idiots. There was one staff member in particular - male, white, long hair in bun - who treated customer after customer with contempt. When a woman who didn’t speak English well asked him if he could help her he said no and pointed for her to leave. The manager, who stands next to him, defended his appalling behavior. Terrible people who are terrible at their jobs.

Constantly don't know how to use goodrx coupons and says it's more then it is. The app offers coupons and thats the price it should be. Not 4x the price.

They keep telling me I need to contact my own doctor and whenever I’m confused about something, I’m talked down to and given sass like I’m inconveniencing them for not knowing the ins and outs of the pharmaceutical business and regulations.

if I could give one star I would.. I called yesterday making sure I could pick up my prescription on my way to work (as this location is 24hrs) the next morning (today 1/24). I was told "no problem, your prescription is filled and ready to be picked up". well I call this morning to triple check and the rude lady tells me that they are completely out of my medication. I know there is a shortage of stimulant medication, but I shouldn't have been told my prescription was FILLED AND READY for me to pick up... I explained to her that with the shortage of stimulant medication you're allowed up to 2 transfers (in case this happens) She then proceeded to tell me I'm "wrong and that has never been a thing" she told me I now need to call me doctor and have them send in a whole NEW prescription to a different WALGREENS!!! I asked her why I was told this and why the app said my prescription is ready to be picked up and she said "sorry can't help you, talk with your doctor... I work in health care and I understand the shortag, what I don't understand is the lack of communication between the store employees and the rudeness of them employees. if you're out of a medication? DONT TELL ME IT IS READY TO BE PICKED UP AND THEN HAVE AN ATTITUDE WITH ME WHEN I SIMPLY TOLD YOU EVEN YOUR APP SAYS I CAN TRANSFER THIS MEDICATION UP TO TO TIMES IF THIS SCENARIO WERE TO HAPPEN.... She then hung up on me. I will never be going here again. I had my prescriptions sent here because it's close to my work and convenient for me to be able to swing by on my breaks. I will be going back to my old Walgreens in Anoka. They have always been wonderful and if something like this did ever happen, they take care of it for the customer without hesitation or rudeness. I have also had making patients that we send their medications to after a proc complain about how poorly the pharmacy staff and timely manner they have. Avoid if you can. Don't work in healthcare if you can't do your job without an attitude.

Walgreens needs to hire enough people to properly man the pharmacy. Every single time I come here, whether I go in the drive through or inside, it takes FOREVER. The pharmacists are running around, answering the phone, filling the Rxs and manning the registers and drive through. There aren't enough of them. Next time I need an Rx filled, I'm going to go to a different pharmacy. Currently been sitting trapped in the pharmacy drive through for 20 min and not a single car has moved. There's no way to exit and I won't be surprised if I'm here for an hour.

This pharmacy is pathetic. I was kind and politely waited, but this has happened multiple times. They say they call the name when it’s ready, but that is not true. This has happened multiple times now, where they tell me to wait, and I am patient. When the paging system doesn’t work, I should not feel bad about not hearing it. I am not someone who just “misses” announcements. I value hard work and understand many people seem to do their best, but the systems they have here do not work for waiting for medications. I do not like sitting around and waiting for announcement that do not make it to my ears.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. The pharmacy manager is literally the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. He is consistently condescending, and every interaction that I have had with him has felt horrible. My family has been long-term customers of this pharmacy, and it is time that we move on to find a pharmacy that is not only more helpful, but more respectful of its customers! I have had several interactions with this pharmacy’s manager where I’ve tried explaining an issue or problem we are running into, where he interrupts me and talks over me, and then when I attempt to clarify what I’m trying to say to him, he literally yells at me for interrupting him. I truly do not understand how someone with his lack of professionalism and downright childish responses to legitimate customer questions has been able to remain in his job. Someone with his temperament really should be fired!!

Called and asked when my prescription would be filled. Was told within an hour. Went to pick up 3.5 hours after calling, waited in the drive thru for another 30 minutes, and prescription still wasn't ready.

Worst Walgreens ever! The pharmacy is the slowest and the drive thru is terrible. If you go into the drive thru lane then you’re stuck because it’s so narrow there is no way out, so you have to wait it out and it could be 40 minutes or 75 minutes. Also very rude employees who when I complained about the poor service told me to take it up with corporate. I asked for her name and she covered up her name tag and walked away. Never again will I visit this Walgreens.

I did not get a notification that 2 of my 3 items were not in stock, but I was informed that my order was ready for pick up. After looking in the bag, you can imagine my disappointment. I reached out to customer service, chat option, I was not rude, but I was asking for options to fulfill the missing items in my order. On top of not providing me with a resolution, the Walgreens team member abruptly closed the chat room because of a "delay in my response." Sorry, but that is a complete lie, as I was continually typing, and only a few seconds passed since my last message was sent. This is the worst service I have received by any retailer in the last few years.

I would give 0 stars, Today 12/5/2023, @ 1200 Noon Scheduled a simple flu vaccination appointment via the Walgreens App, did all the forms online. I was waiting for 40 Min to get a damn flu shot WTF! Takes so damn long. if I don't get called..I'm fucking leaving....this is ridiculous.... already left, no one helped me.. then finally waiting 40 min this nurse who was supposed to give me the shot asked me for paperwork ?! I said, no one in the front counter when I initially checked in the front desk never gave me any paperwork. I told the nurseI completed the questionnaire online. So why do I need to do one now? Doesn't make sense to me so she just shut the door and ignored me...wow....then she has the audacity to ask me to cut in line..where other people were waiting and have a person give me paperwork...No thank you..and I couldn't flag anyone who was working behind the counter to help me it was insanely busy, so I just left good bye. I made another appointment in WI where its not that busy. Fuck EDINA WALGREENS. Don't go there ever! Consumer beware!

The pharmacy isn't open 24 hours anymore. No matter what they say, don't believe them. Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't. It's unreliable and misleading. They do not communicate that to doctor offices or online wellness clinics either because those places recommend and think that the pharmacy on York in Edina is a 24 hour pharmacy. I specifically requested my meds be sent there so that I could get a first dose in me asap and get better a little faster. Instead, they were closing the store at 10pm and had shut-down the pharmacy line before 9:30pm because there was a line from the pharmacy to the frozen foods or approx. twelve people. There were was one person working the pharmacy window. I stood in line for 10 min before I decided to leave. I'm incredible disgusted by this experience (and others I've had the past couple of years at different Walgreen), even so, I will not fault the employees who try to comply with unrealistic corporate goals. Walgreens pays bare minimum wages and expects the moon from its employees. When the pharmacies at Walgreens only did prescriptions, before taking on flu shots and vaccinations and whatever else they make the pharmacist do now, you could get your prescription while you shopped around for 20 minutes or less. Now, don't even think about it. They did one thing great--prescriptions; but now, they do 3-4 things are are mediocre at best. After suffering through 30 minute lines for over two years, I give up. Walgreens has shown me who they are and it sure isn't customer service based anymore. This one star isn't just for the York ave in Edina store, it's for the two in Bloomington, and whoever in corporate thought that they could branch into doing more customer service tasks without hiring more employees or paying them higher wages, it's for the ceo, president, and all the higher ups. Walgreens has failed at being the reliable neighborhood drug store and quick stop store. I don't recommend Walgreens to anyone anymore and I plan to move my prescriptions asap.

I’m not sure why this pharmacy gets a bad rap. I’ve been going here for years. After struggling to get my prescriptions filled at other pharmacies this place seems wonderful in contrast. I love that it’s open 24/7 as I work weird hours and I’m not always able to get to places during normal business hours. Also, they mostly have the prescriptions I need and when they don’t they communicate relevant information to me. I had the pharmacists go out of their way to help me get what I’m prescribed. I have zero complaints. Yes, sometimes the lines are long but whatever they are doing the best they can.
