Today I went to the deli at the Coborn's in Ramsey, I asked the sushi chef to make me something, and it was a great platter he put together for me! Im enjoying it right now.
I have lived in 14 states and my thing is to check out sishi places, i tellin you that what he put together for me today is up there witb the best of them.

The place was clean friendly. The deli was a place were you could save money or spend a lot. Plenty of choices. The women were fantastic. I love the fact that older women were serving lunch and dinner to me. They were super nice to deal with.

Prices are sky high compared to other local markets. $8.00 for McCormick celery salt, $5.00 at another local market. $12.50 for Metamucil Cookies $10.00 at the other local market. These are not the only items I have noticed. Plus they are discontinuing some of my favorite food items. Also the discount meat freezer has a lot to be desired. Better prices at the other market for fresh. Coborns used to be our favorite place to shop but having a change heart now

Store is clean, wide variety of food choices. Terrible customer service. Had exactly ten items but was brushed off by the cashier at the 10 Items or Less register. He said he can't help us. Forced go to self checkout and tried to use my WIC card for fruit and milk while an employee opened his register to help another shopper. He saw me having issues and then said I can't use WIC cards at the self checkout, and that there's a sign there, which I obviously didn't see (it was very small print and not easily seen until going to check out). He didn't even offer to help me check out at his register so I could use my WIC benefits. I ended up paying with my debit card, which is fine, but it was a very irritating experience with the employees. Especially because there were two of them at the 10 Items or Less register chatting and I wasn't offered assistance with my WIC items.
