I am new to Elk River and was overdue for a haircut. I am always anxious to try out a new location and stylist.
I just wanted to share that I had an amazing experience and my stylist was awesome and extremely knowledgeable. She gave me a great hair cut and fun conversation. This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had getting my hair cut. This is now my go to spot for hair cuts! Thank you! ?

I went in with my two daughters So we could all three get our haircuts. My youngest is 6 my oldest is 16. The lady who cut my 6 year olds hair also did mine. She did an amazing job. She was amazing with my 6 year old. My six-year-old got her hair washed, and was a little nervous. The lady was patient and explained everything she did Our haircuts turned out amazingThe lady who cut my 16-year-old daughters hair, shouldn’t even have a cosmetology licenseMy 16 year old Has anxiety she has trouble speaking up for herself. I stayed with her To explain to the lady what she wantedThe stylist said she couldn’t cut my daughter’s hair the way she wanted it cut. For whatever reason the style wouldn’t work. So my daughter said fine just a trim then. I was adamant with the lady to do just a trim nothing else. I walked away to get my 6 year olds hair washed and cut and mine cut.All while my oldest was getting her hair chopped off. She didn’t trim her hair. She cut off at least 6 inches. The layers look awful. (Layers we never wanted). The lady even tried chopping my daughter’s bangs. She washed her hair and did a blow out for free. I’m assuming because she ones she messed up and tried fixing it.I tried complaining but my teen told me to leave alone. She got to the car and cried. She’s been trying to grow her hair out and now she’s shoulder length. I wish I could have stayed by her side the entire time.When i confronted the stylist About why my child’s hair was cut so short, when all we wanted was a trim. She used the excuse that she had to do itI don’t want my money back I don’t want my daughters hair fixedI want the salon Management to have a talk with their stylist about listening to the clients. I don’t care if my child was 6, 16, or 60.If she says she wants a trim. Then do that. Just trim it. Don’t take it upon you self to chop someone’s hair off.If this was a review just for my 16-year-old I wouldn’t have given any stars at allIt was a review for myself or my youngest I would definitely give five stars The lady who did our hair was amazing The other girl gal Not only ignored what my daughter wanted. She also did a terrible job at cutting her hair.We are not happy
