Talked to Eric today, looking to transfer my expired CD into my savings account without automatic renewal. He said that I would need to come in physically to the location and said there were no other options to close the CD. I went into the app later and found I was just able to do it straight from the app. Not sure why he didn’t suggest that in the first place and instead just wasted my time citing ‘policy’ and was very rude. You would think that the employees at the bank would be more helpful and aware of what the app do

US Bank always goes above and beyond in their customer service and their services and technologies they offer.

I am shocked by the negative reviews for the Elk River branch of US Bank. I have been a customer at this branch for the past 17 years, and have always had a good experience. I have had numerous dealings over the years: notary, cashing checks, withdrawals from my account, loans, credit cards, money orders, cashiers checks and have ALWAYS been treated in a very polite and respectful manner. These folks are definitely a 5 star group in my book. I have a feeling many of the people that wrote a negative review went in the bank with a chip on their shoulder to start with. I will be their customer for life!!!

We went into this bank to cash an important check. The man teller was short and rude. Like most us bank employees it seems. Must be part of the interview? I consistently run into rude workers that seem too stuck up to deal with anything other than themselves i suppose? I've switched banks due to the lack of not only customer service but can we talk about the tremendous amount of fee's for blinking too many times? Us bank across the board is Teribble.

Unhelpful verging on rude. Got to hear their commentary on me as a person while I was waiting on my Uber. Glad there are other branches,

Don’t bank with them they’ll rob you with overdraft fees after covering your .02 cents overdraft.

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago to open a joint account for my son who is 17 years old. we drove half an hr to get there in a snow storm and we get in and we had to wait 20 mins after our appointment to even talk to someone. then I was humiliated after b ING told I couldn't use a bathroom there. if you can't treat the public you shouldn't be open to the public. I left in tears in search of a bathroom.

So far good enough for me. I opened a savings and checking account after leaving a different bank. It can be cumbersome to get an appointment. When I enter the bank, the service is good. The bank is open when I expect it to be. US Bank is doing better than the previous bank I had accounts with.
When I called US Bank to get refunds on merchandise I didn't receive, the phone wait wasn't longer than five minutes and representatives have the right answers. This means your staff is trained properly. Yes, I did receive my refunds and received good advice to fax proper documents for refunds at a local branch instead of doing snail mail.

I WILL be moving all my accounts to a bank that answers the phone. I am also sick of the mystery fees in my free checking.

I’ve been a customer for many years and am extremely dissatisfied with how things were handled after being denied for a HEIL. The mortgage loan officer I worked with was not knowledgeable with what I would consider basics terms of home mortgages. It took several attempts to receive a response and when I did I was given an 800 # to contact to attempt to understand why my HEIL was denied. I spoke with four different departments who were unable to provide me with any information. Each of them did indicate the loan officer at the branch should be able to tell me why I was denied but he and his manager were not.
I’m extremely frustrated that I couldn’t get answers to something that seems so simple. Why is it left in the customers court to attempt to track this down? It leaves me with the impression that because I wasn’t approved that I’m no longer someone they want to deal with. Frankly, it being pushed off on the customer to track this down is unacceptable.
I will be working to determine who I need to contact regarding this issue as I want to prevent it from happening to others. It’s simply unacceptable!!
This branch has lost my business and I will contact another mortgage company who treats their customers like they matter.
Do better!
