I got a fresh set of acrylics on 8-21-2025. I was already unhappy with the process of the French top during the process but the tech assured me she’s been doing nails for 23 years she knew what she was doing. It’s sloppy and not what French should be. It looks like I have a whole French set underneath. I kindly called and asked for a refund and sent them a video and they refused because they said it is the way a French is supposed to look like. They blamed it on the lighting and in every different lighting you can see the other French underneath. I’ve been here before and was always happy. The time they quite frankly dropped the ball I asked for a refund and they said no and didn’t even offer to fix it. I’m very disappointed.

I was very disappointed in my experience. First, I made an appointment at 5 and they called me the day of asking if I could come in at 4. I got there at 4 and waited about 15 minutes in the waiting room. Second, I asked for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. I wanted french on my nails and a red color on my toes. The nail tech thought I wanted red on my nails and I had to confirm twice that was not want I wanted. The french manicure is nothing i’ve ever seen before. Usually a french has bright white and a pink or neutral layover. The white turned out cream and almost frosted over by the base layer. The nail tech also struggled to shape them. My pedicure was good and the color has lasted. Third, I had my appointment on Aug 4th and it’s now the 17th. My thumb has cracked off, the cuticles have started to peel and crack, and my hair is getting stuck underneath which is one of the most annoying things. Looking at past reviews, people seem to be experiencing the same issues with their nails. I would not come back here.

Lindsay does the BEST pedicures ever! I highly recommend her services. She is very professional, thorough, and detail-oriented. I am very happy and grateful to have found her, and I look forward to my next appointment!

Wow, wow, wow. I had Lindsay for my facial and she was AMAZING!!! I felt like I was in relaxation heaven. She gave me the best facial I have ever had!

I hate to leave a negative review, but my experience at this spa was incredibly disappointing. I’ve had facials in the past and know what to expect, but this was by far the worst service I’ve ever received. I booked a one-hour session, only for it to be rushed and finished in less than 40 minutes! It felt like they just wanted to get it over with.
To make things worse, the towels had a strong mildew smell—completely unacceptable for a spa. The facial itself was poorly done; they didn’t even follow the proper steps. The scrub and mask were barely applied, and the massage was almost nonexistent. It was as if they were just going through the motions without any real effort or care.
I really wanted to enjoy my time here, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and cheated. Definitely not worth the time or money. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality spa experience.

I absolutely love Chi at Excelsior Nails and Day Spa! I moved from Bloomington to Chanhassen in 2021 and it was tough to find a nail salon and technician I liked. Every place I tried was disappointing - until I found Chi! I can't say enough good things about her. She is friendly, caring and very accommodating with my schedule. More importantly, she does an absolutely beautiful job with my nails. I'll never go anywhere else.

I have been going to the Nail Salon for over a year. Linh and the staff have always been friendly, helpful and accommodating. I regularly have a Mani/Pedi with Gel or Dip. Lots of color options!! Lots of service options.My nail color lasts 3-4 weeks!

Do not recommend doing business here and whatever you do, DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD from here. The owner is not professional and the business seems to be struggling. Owner said many times unable to honor gift card due to them not having enough money. Also, their website is not accurate with services offered or appointment availability and no pricing information is listed. Older reviews that are positive are while under previous ownership and management- do not be fooled as this is not the experience that can be expected. I delayed posting this in hopes management would try to make this right but unsurprisingly they did not. So many red flags, do not do business here.
