“I scheduled a free tire rotation for my car after driving 3K miles over 3 years since buying a new set of Michelins at Younstedt's in Minnetonka. The front desk scheduler made it easy and was very personable the morning I showed up at 8:00AM. They discovered a driver's side rear tire pressure was low and suggested they investigate. they found a bead had developed a leak, removed the tire and scraped the bead, cleaned and resealed it. Thanks for offering free tire rotation because it affords the opportunity preventive maintenance and take any intervention necessary to repair any discovered problems. They have a ton of stuff for hunting and everything you could possibly need for outdoors. They have a large clothing, selection, shoe collection and a nice clearance area. The customer experience is unmatched. I walked in the door and was welcomed with some breakfast samples. Then I noticed free popcorn for customers, which was awesome. They also had a caramel apple station which was also free. Then on our way out after a few hours, we were able to get free hotdogs. I went didn’t expecting to spend maybe five dollars and ended up spending over 70 because of how awesome this place and because of the great deals!”

If I could give more stars I honestly would! I had an emergency tire repair needing to be done and I dreaded having to take it in somewhere to get it repaired, as I do unfortunately have a bias about the auto repair industry and how gender roles can affect the outcome for lots of people.
I called multiple tire shops around me and that bias was almost immediately brought to fruition. I was met with stark tones from the male service reps. I was talked down to and rushed and not given clear or direct answers when I had specific questions… I was about ready to try and be a YouTube mechanic and figure it out myself (I know how to change a tire. but my rim was bent and I didn’t know how to handle that).
Anyways, before I decided to throw in the towel, I made one final call and that was to Bobby & Steve’s.
I spoke with three different gentlemen that worked there and they ALL understood proper customer service. It was a breathe of fresh air and I actually felt comfortable and confident in bringing my vehicle to them.
Ryan specifically knocked it out of the park. He even went the extra mile and added my tires to a pickup order he was already planning to make within the next half hour of me calling, so I could get my tire replaced same day! I could tell he genuinely wanted to help me, the person, not just fulfill a sale or a quota or whatever.
I felt even more relaxed when I finally arrived to the auto shop and was face to face with everyone in person. Just an overall great environment and great employees and that is a big deal, especially in today’s social climate where customer service is kind of dead regardless of gender or other bias. I just really appreciate this place and I will definitely be back again!”
