“Today was our first time visiting Westonka Animal Hospital and I am so glad we get to call this vet our primary care spot for our pets.
Dr. Collins and assistant, Hailey, were great and calm when assessing our dogs issues today. Our dog came in with 3 bite marks and in a lot of pain. They were super patient with him and made sure he was entirely assessed before coming up with a treatment plan. Absolutely no treatment felt pressuring and Dr. Collins prefaces all of his recommendations by stating they are just his recommendations. Very upfront about the cost before starting treatment. 10/10 experience. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful vet clinic to take care of our pets!”

“We love Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital! The space is new, bright and clean; the staff is unfailingly friendly and professional; and we and our dog all adore Dr. Hanson. We are always treated promptly, and the techs and Dr Hanson work quickly and thoroughly, all the while doting lovingly on our dog, who literally runs from the car into their building every time we arrive. She loves going to the vet—what more could you ask for?? They are patient with me while I ask all of my first-time-pet-parent questions, and we never feel rushed. A new vet is opening up blocks from our house, but we’ll never leave Dr. Hanson and Anderson Lakes Animal Hospital!”

“We moved away from MN about 3 years ago, and have had to use multiple veterinarians through the US. Some good and some not so good. It’s safe to say NONE are as great as Dr. Sara, Dr. Miriam and their whole staff. Their level of compassion and clinical ability is head and shoulders above anyone else we have used since we left. We were always appreciative for how they treated our dogs (and us), but being gone for a while really made us realize how lucky we were to have them.
If you’re not using this clinic for your animals needs, you’re missing out!”
“We love Dr. Jessica! She is incredibly kind, passionate, and a good human being overall :) You can tell she loves what she does, and she’s good at it!
We did have an alternate experience with Dr. Olson. A ton of passive aggressive comments were made and it honestly felt hostile at times. A few snide and unnecessary comments were made throughout the appointment as well. Definitely a disheartening and discouraging interaction overall.
All of this to say, Dr Jessica, along with the rest of the staff, are incredibly kind and welcoming!”
“Caring staff, from the doctors to the receptionists. The visits are very comprehensive and the vets personally call back with test results. Dr. Stefan is patient and answers all my questions, and clearly loves dogs. This clinic was recommended to me by two friends. I love that it is family owned. They make my new puppy feel like she is part of the family, too.”

Every staff member is personable, friendly, works hard to resolve issues, and listens well. I just recently made the change to them and drive from south Minneapolis for their exceptional treatment and integrated services. My dog is so well taken care of there.”
“Rockford Road vet is the only place I recommend for vet care. They’ve seen all of my animals from our guinea pigs to our dogs and always help accommodate to make sure our dogs have a great experience (as well as the guinea pigs). The staff is kind and knowledgeable and makes for a stress free experience everytime!”

We’ve been bringing our two dogs here for years now and have had a couple odd injuries/health issues come up — we received nothing but exceptional care. “Dr. Shane Smith is amazing, as was the entire staff the we met while visiting the Lake Minnetonka Pet Wellness Center with our little dog Loki. Who else would sit right down on the floor with their little patients? Well without any hesitation, Dr. Smith did just that to help calm our little guy & to complete his exam. The two technicians who helped assist, Kelley & Jenna, were equally kind, patient & loving with Loki.
It’s funny how much Loki picked up on the very “positive vibe” perPETuated from inside those 4 walls as well. Upon initially arriving at the MTKA Pet Wellness Center, his little body began trembling. When his exam was over, we left our vehicle in the parking lot, went for about a mile walk on the trail. Shortly after we returned, we imagined Loki would jump right into the truck. Nope … he walked right back up the few steps to the doorway of the place where all his new friends were. Guess he loves y’all as much as we do! Thanks so much!”
“My cat has had some chronic GI issues and the staff at the clinic have been very responsive and helpful. They spend the time to review all the pros/cons of each treatment option along with the cost. I would not bring my cat anywhere else. They are a great practice.”

“I can not begin to describe how exceptional our experience with Doctor Gaskin and his tech was, having just gotten our first kitty. This is both an amazing and stressful experience for me and my girlfriend. Doctor Gaskin was extremely understanding and knowledgeable when it came to answering all of our questions, He was absolutely wonderful with our buddy Milo as well. I am not a very good person as far as social skills and understanding people; but even I can tell the level of passion and care that Doctor Gaskin has for animals. I would recommend this vet to anyone with a furry friend.”

Very high level of care with competent folks, very cost effective, sometimes hard to get in right away due to demand because of the 2 aforementioned positives.
