“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Carr at Westonka Animal Hospital. During one of the most difficult times in my life, he showed such genuine care and compassion for my senior dog, Korbie, and for me.
From the care he provided to the thoughtful phone call and the kindness he showed throughout the entire experience, I truly felt that Korbie was in the hands of someone who cared deeply about her well-being. He treated us with empathy, patience, and understanding during an incredibly heartbreaking time.
When you're faced with making difficult decisions for a beloved pet who has been part of your family for so many years, having a veterinarian who leads with compassion makes all the difference. Dr. Carr gave us that, and it's something I will never forget.

“Due to the USAF I have had to move around a lot and have had many different vet clinics over the years. This one is my favorite. It is clean, fresh smelling, comfortable, peaceful and quiet. Appointments are always on time and the way they schedule it you are never dealing with lots of other animals in the waiting room. You walk in and you go straight into your own room. Staff is very friendly and the Vet Techs and Doctors are knowledgeable, patient, kind and thorough.”

“This is the best clinic. I trust the entire staff. I drive from Bloomington out to Long Lake for this particular Veterinary clinic. They are extremely knowledgeable and I trust everything they tell me. I bring two of my cats here. And to the lady that wrote the horrible review and called them scammers and accused them of all these horrible things she is a liar. There is no way this vet did any of that. And to the lady who said the vet building is outdated and drabby they have completely redone their building. It's better than any Veterinary Clinic I've ever been to. You just have to remember some people complain about everything. This is the best place to bring your pets.”

“Had a great first experience with my sweet 1 year old Dachshund Rat Terrier mix, Lola. She is a young rescue and needed an initial wellness exam post adoption to continue her on her flea and tick meds, as well as establish regular ongoing care.
The clinic was able to get me in the following day after I called and everyone I interacted with was super friendly! They did a thorough examination and even offered a free month supply of Nexxgaurd + and some dental samples as a new client. I will be back and be sure to recommend them to others as well :)”

“Been going to GLAH for over 10 yrs. Dr Lunde and Dr Brock have been caring for my dog seeing him thru some very serious health issues. The front end staff is excellent and very helpful. Phone services need to be updated with faster answering or option to leave a voice mail that would be responded to quickly versus putting on hold. The connections to specialized care they don’t do has been excellent as well as onsite surgical care provided by Drs Wood and Butler! This is a small facility so keep that in mind if you are shopping services- pricing for services and care is comparative with others and worth it given the level of expertise in this clinic.”
“I can not begin to describe how exceptional our experience with Doctor Gaskin and his tech was, having just gotten our first kitty. This is both an amazing and stressful experience for me and my girlfriend. Doctor Gaskin was extremely understanding and knowledgeable when it came to answering all of our questions, He was absolutely wonderful with our buddy Milo as well. I am not a very good person as far as social skills and understanding people; but even I can tell the level of passion and care that Doctor Gaskin has for animals. “I seriously can’t say enough good things about everyone here! The front desk staff and vet techs are always incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. One of my dogs, Moose, LOVES coming to the vet—he genuinely gets just as excited walking in here as he does going to the dog park lol. I think that says a lot about how well he’s been treated and how comfortable he feels with everyone.
My other dog, Rudo, was much more anxious about the vet when he was younger, and the staff were amazing about helping us work through it. We brought him in for “happy visits” where there was no scary appointment—they just greeted him, loved on him, gave him treats, and helped desensitize him to things like getting on the scale. They’ve always been so patient with him and genuinely seem to care about making the vet a positive experience rather than just getting through the appointment.
Everyone is also super helpful whenever I have questions or need something for the boys. It’s such a good feeling having a vet clinic where my dogs are genuinely happy and comfortable walking through the door. I’m so grateful for everyone here and would absolutely recommend them!”
