Disappointed! Used to be a fun place to stop in and get some tasty treats and browse interesting merchandise. Not anymore. I went on a Friday in peak season (mid Oct) and they had no apple cider and didn’t know when they’d have more. I was told they only have cider donuts and turnovers on Sat/Sun. Very surprised how empty the shop shelves were other than apples. Called on a Saturday and was told they had cider donuts and turnovers on Friday, but not Sat/Sun. Wasted a few trips. Definitely call before you go.

Seriously.. what a disappointment.. First time going here, and will not be back. The building was less than filled with goods to buy, when we said we’d never been here and wondered what to do, the lady said “there’s not much to see”. After reading the previous reviews we decided to head there instead of elsewhere.. such a mistake. I don’t know how you can call yourself an orchard when you don’t offer “pick your own” or offering a tour of some sort. Did I mention it was a disappointment?

Timberlake Orchard is a wonderful apple orchard. The owners are the nicest folks. They have many varieties of apples and make pies, cider and other stuff fresh most days. They just opened for the season so not all apples are ready but will be soon. We drove from Welcome, MN and it was well worth the drive. Along with apples the owner planted a beautiful area of sunflowers. If you are looking for a great weekend stop we highly recommend Timberlake Orchard.
