“While I opted to go to a different vet for my cat's health condition for the last few years due to differing treatment opinions, Willow Pet Hospital was absolutely wonderful when it came to the end.
I walked in at 8am with my cat for euthanasia and they were able to take care of us immediately with no appointment. (It was a rather sudden thing.) The staff was compassionate and caring and although they didn't know Wendy well, if at all, I felt like they loved her.
They made the process easy. It was peaceful. They handled her with love and care and pet her so softly as she went and allowed me all the time I needed with her.
I received a clay paw print with her name spelled out underneath. I asked for specific bits of her fur and that's exactly what they gave me. I was told I'd get a card with her paw print on it and days later I remember thinking how I wished I'd asked for a nose print, too.
The card arrived in the mail with several paw prints and some nose prints.
The same day I brought her in, I needed ointment for my other cat's reoccurring eye issue. They didn't have any open appointments to see him but were able to get me the ointment. A week later when I picked up Wendy's ashes to bring her home I let the staff know my other cat's eye issue was cleared up and brought up a photo and everyone was so excited to see. I felt like they cared about us so much.
Thank you for making one of the hardest days of my life so much softer.”
