“encore is incredibly well organized and you can find so many unique pieces. if you’re a teen/adolescent, i’d maybe recommend coming here. it’s pretty hit or miss but very doable to find banger statement pieces. additionally, encore has a discount system in which if an article of clothing has been on the racks for a certain amount of time, you can receive a 50% or 75% off. many of the pieces are carefully handpicked to ensure that customers only get the best of the best. the vintage section at the bottom of the store is totally worth checking out too even if you’re not just to vintage clothing! the owners are such lovely people and are incredibly helpful.”

“This place is great! I had a very simple zipper repair that I just lacked the tools for myself, and they repaired my zipper on the spot in 5 minutes for just $20. Super lovely and helpful, and they do give you a discount if you pay in cash.”

Jewelry of all colors and styles, purses, clothes, etc. Just be careful you don't spend your entire paycheck (the prices are very reasonable, but you might accidentally buy everything because this is such a fun store and I wanted it all)! The lady who was working last week when I was in was super helpful and found so many options for complementary jewelery for my new years eve look. I will be back here numerous times in the future, I'm sure.”

Prices are reasonable. You won't regret it. There is a brewery right next door some come get some MN gear and hit the brewery. You won't be disappointed. “Love this place! As an AMAB person (who also presents as male) interested in drag, shopping for women's clothing & accessories can be a bit intimidating. However, the owner was so nice and accommodating. He welcomed me into the store and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel judged whatsoever. I really liked the fact that they have an AMAZING selection of heels, especially since I needed a size 12 in heels, and they had many options. Many people had recommended I go to Bondesque, but they did not have the selection that Venus has, and Venus's prices are also better. I'm so glad I saw Venus next door and decided to go in. I'd choose this store any day over Bondesque. Oh and in regards to people complaining about the parking, well, it's a small business off of lake street in uptown, so what do you expect? There's free parking on side streets nearby, otherwise look for a metered spot and go during a time of day with less traffic. I highly recommend this store!”

“I love Zumiez. All of the locations I’ve been to (all around the metro area of Minneapolis-Saint Paul) have been great. If I had to pick my favorite, I think this might be it just because they have the largest selection of everything.
