“This place is great! I had a very simple zipper repair that I just lacked the tools for myself, and they repaired my zipper on the spot in 5 minutes for just $20. Super lovely and helpful, and they do give you a discount if you pay in cash.”

“encore is incredibly well organized and you can find so many unique pieces. if you’re a teen/adolescent, i’d maybe recommend coming here. it’s pretty hit or miss but very doable to find banger statement pieces. additionally, encore has a discount system in which if an article of clothing has been on the racks for a certain amount of time, you can receive a 50% or 75% off. many of the pieces are carefully handpicked to ensure that customers only get the best of the best. the vintage section at the bottom of the store is totally worth checking out too even if you’re not just to vintage clothing! the owners are such lovely people and are incredibly helpful.”

“I’ve always loved Patagonia, but today my experience took that appreciation to a whole new level.
I brought my 15-year-old Patagonia messenger bag to the store to ask about repairing the worn, scratched-off reflective strips. The staff let me know that this particular part couldn’t be repaired—but then they did something truly remarkable: they offered to trade in my old bag for a brand-new one at no cost. I walked out with a replacement that was equivalent in value and quality, completely free.
This level of customer service not only impressed me—it reaffirmed our confidence in Patagonia as a brand. Just two weeks ago, my wife and I spent about $1,000 on Jackson Glacier parkas, and we weren’t entirely sure whether we had made the best decision for our budget. After today, we feel completely reassured. We know we’ll be able to enjoy our parkas for many years without worrying about unexpected issues.
Patagonia has earned our trust all over again. Outstanding products backed by outstanding service.”

If a traveler seeks variety, they will not leave disappointed. Browsing feels like navigating a hyperspace lane of music, anime, and nostalgia all at once.

“My fiance and I came in when we were doing some exploring after picking up a prescription near by. This is such a cute clothing store. The owner makes and has very high quality clothing. He is a very nice guy whose customers are his top priority. We bought two sweatshirts and two shirts. I would recommend any Minnesotan to come check this shop out. There's tons of MN gear here. Prices are reasonable. You won't regret it. There is a brewery right next door some come get some MN gear and hit the brewery. You won't be disappointed. “BEAUTIFUL boutique with the sweetest shop dog, Daisy! Happened to stop in after having a cup of coffee next door and can't wait to go back. Great selection of high quality clothing ranging from basics to statement pieces, and unique, versatile accessories. While not every single item came in plus sizes (as far as I could tell), there was a really wide selection of XL, 2X, and 3X items including on the sale racks. Most sale items were heavily discounted so I'd recommend stopping in even if you're on a budget. So happy to have discovered this gem!!”
“I bought 3 pairs of jeans here and needed them altered. When i got them back, 2 pairs were too short. The manager, Jake, took care of me and got me 2 new pairs. This level of customer service is something I don't find these days! Jake's service should be rewarded and praised. “I popped into the North Loop Madewell on a mission to find jeans that actually fit me, a task I usually dread because finding the right pair has always been a struggle. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name who helped me, but he was absolutely amazing! He took the time to walk me through every style Madewell offers, set me up in a dressing room, and gave me the kind of support you usually only get from a best friend.
Shopping alone can be tough, especially when you need that second opinion, but he hyped me up, made me feel confident, and helped me find jeans that I love. Yes, they’re a bit pricey, but the quality and the level of care from employees who truly go above and beyond make them worth every penny. Honestly, the shopping experience alone made this a five-star visit!”
