Lauren is very talented at cutting hair. She knew how to deal with my curly hair and is really good at teaching/informing about ongoing care and maintenance.Lauren spoke with me about skin care and how to help my face thrive using their aloe based products. It is true and I am so happy with my skin’s health -supple and smooth.Besides that, the location is great - and the salon is full of sunshine and color. The ambiance is welcoming and fun, a perfect reflection of Lauren!

My fiance gave me a trip to the salon for a trim, dye, highlights and eyebrow shaping and dye for Christmas. I had heard good things about the salon and Lauren. My daughter is a distant cousin through her stepmother and had been to Lauren and said i should absolutely go to her. I was impressed with the atmosphere as well as how friendly everyone was. I felt relaxed and excited to see what Lauren would do. She didnt like the color/ highlights i had printed from online, saying they were dated. I put my trust in her professionalism even though i knew what i wanted. We went through images on her phone and i picked one with light colors and highlights, she agreed it was a good decision. She was friendly the entire time. I told her multiple times i did NOT want dark colors. At one point she suggested we could just dye it blond which i had, but did mention the dryness and damage so we decided on the other colors. She went back to mix the colors and came out withh dark colors, i believe espresso or cappuccino. I reiterated i did not want dark colors and those were not what i choose. With any dye it will look different until dry. She assured me it would lighten. I ended up with dark hair which was basically my regular color, and highlights that could not be seen. She again said it would lighten. I was not happy but trusted her knowledge. Noone could see any highlights and even said it was a bad color and i looked mousy. I cried because i spent a lot of money and looked horrible. I let it go for a bit hoping it would lighten but it didn't. I emailed the salon and got no response so a while later i texted about it and stated i had emailed. While they got back to me quickly, trhey stated they would do nothing and made other statements that didnt even apply to the situation. They refused to fix it or refund at least a portion. They stated they had not gotten any email, and that they could not accommodate my needs, despite helping pick out a color i liked. I am shocked that such a nice person with recommended would not only color my hair dark and not like we picked out, but her reaction to my text, which was cordialu. Unfortunately my special present from my fiance turned into a horror story that cost a lot.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

My mom spent way too much money going here to get her hair cut, colored and highlighted only to walk out and have her hair done entirely wrong.. she cried when she got home. you couldn't even tell she highlighted it. Her fiance's first response was "is she doing the highlights on a different day?" And the color itself was not what she picked out.. He got her that appointment for a Christmas present. I recommended Lauren because I know her from our family's relationships. And their reputation itself was great but clearly not because of lauren.. Now I feel bad for that recommendation.

This would be an extremely long review if I put all of the things that I admired about Lauren so I will try and keep it short.I first went in with damaged hair and zero confidence. Lauren not only fixed my hair she fixed my heart a little too! With the tips and tricks she taught me I feel so much better! Make an appointment, you will not regret it.

The cancelation policy is too strict. I had to cancel my appointment because I had double booked myself and had a doctor's appointment at the same time. Well apparently I was 1 hour too late to cancel. 1 HOUR. I don't know about any of you but 1 hour when it's already 2 business days out is nothing

Erin @ 715 Hotheads is aAmazing!!!! She cut and colored my hair.Erin listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I asked for. Honestly I feel she went above and beyond what I asked for.I absolutely love the cut and the color melt she did on my hair. She has skill that's for sure. She was very nice and welcoming as well.She gave me recommendations on hair product (s) to use when I asked her as well.My overall experience was Great! I have found my new hair salon home @ 715 Hotheads w/ Erin Easton!!!! Now that I've gone to her I won't go to anyone else.Thank you for making me look and feel amazing!!!!

Beautiful salon offering waxing and massages, right in the beautiful otter tail river. Erin and Lauren make you feel right at home, as they work their magic on your hair. You’ll walk out feeling like a brand new person. I highly recommend this salon.

I stopped in to see if I could get my eyebrows waxed and feel a little human before mothers day. If you like architecture the building this location is found is stunning! The shop itself is a breathtaking cross of the new and the old giving an extremely welcome feeling. The owner and another woman made me feel right at home making me feel like an old friend more then a customer. I had gotten a bad hair cut some time back and she was able to fix it up and make me feel beautiful along side the waxing. If you haven't stopped in at least once for any of their services you are truly missing out!
