“Went through three different car repair shops trying to figure out why my car was vibrating. I got fed up and decided not to go to another city slicker and drove all the way out to Chatfield to have a shop check my car out that wasn't trying to make an extra buck off of me. Only took about 15 minutes and a test drive in my car was completely taken care of for under $60. Something I had already spent $1,300 on total at three other places to have addressed. You have people who love money and you have people who love cars. This guy here loves cars first, Even if it's not his. Highly recommend!”

“After moving to MN, I brought my F350 truck in for an alignment. 4 hours later they called advising me it was done. After leaving Bauer Built, I was driving on highway 52 and later highway 16 and notice the wheel was consistently 5 degrees offset to the left when going straight on a flat road. I brought the truck right back and dropped it off a second time. They called advising it was ready so I returned. The receptionist said the mechanic found nothing wrong but realigned the truck anyway. After I left for the second time the truck was driving fully straight and the wheel was centered as it should be. So I’m happy now.
It should be noted the front of house staff (receptionist) is very friendly and great working with customers. I’ll be back but I can’t give 5 stars at the moment as this alignment had some issues that were resolved. Maybe next time.”

“Terrible experience. No one was in the office and no one was in the shop, but I quickly realized this was a repair shop of a very busy man. Shortly after I arrived, Jerry arrived and introduced himself and said he was too busy to help me. What a jerk. If I was able to, I would give this "business" 7 stars. I told him that I understood and asked if he could spare less than a minute of his time to identify a sound. He shook his head and told me to get out of there... Okay, maybe that last part didn't happen. Jerry hopped in Big Bertha (2008 Chevy Express 3500) and I drove less than 10 yards and hit the brakes. I told him that I did a lot of my own work and had been chasing that noise. He immediately knew what it was and explained exactly what the issue was. Not only that, he verified it and showed me how the wheel bearing sensor was causing my issue. After a quick fuse pull and a lap around the shop, I was shocked and impressed that the noise was gone. I asked Jerry what I owed him and he said don't worry about it, but I still gave him $20. A well equipped shop, affordable prices, outside-the-box thinking where necessary, and most importantly experience is what you can expect from McCabe Repairs. Thank you Mr. McCabe.
