“I've Been coming to Axman surplus stores since 1971.... Sometimes all you have to do is walk in the store and you'll be the inspired to build a new project From their items... The bonus is reading some of the funny signs they use to describe their items because it makes it hard to be in a bad mood....for long. I simply love axman surplus”

“My husband and I were interested in getting some of our newer and older Pokemon cards graded and didn’t know where to start. This store was recommended to us by a friend so we decided to give it a shot. We weren’t really sure what was/was not worth getting graded so we just walked in with our binders of cards.
The shop itself is very clean and nice and we looked around a bit before we got help. The guy that helped us was very nice (didn’t get his name but has a ginger beard) and took the time to look at our cards and narrow down what we were looking for and what we wanted graded and what ones to keep an eye on and maybe grade later. He was very informative and knowledgeable and we were all having good conversations and some laughs. He was nice enough to put some of the cards we decided to not grade into top loaders for us as well as some of my older cards that would not grade high but were nostalgic to me.
We ended up deciding on grading three cards to start and they make the process very easy to do. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable shop to get some PSA grading done on their Pokemon cards! They also do lots of events and things for kids too so check them out and see if they have something up your alley!”
“What a cool shop! Not a huge selection of back issues, but a nice assortment to look through. Looks like an incredible place for gaming with multiple rooms and table spaces for tournaments, etc.”
“This is an amazing store! They have amazing products, but they also go much further... If you are new to learning about rocks and gemstones, this is a great shop to go to. They are passionate about the products they sell and they love to teach you things if you are curious to learn! John offered to let me cut open my first agates ever on a slow day FOR FREE because I had been shopping there so much! This staff truly launched my LOVE for geology and lapidary. I haven't been in a while because I don't want to go broke ? I would say 80% of my massive crystal collection comes from this shop. They are ethical and often mine and polish their own product. They are sure their products are acquired appropriately, and not all shops will take enough pride to ensure this. I can trust that the money I spend is on products that are appropriately priced and ethically obtained.
I hope I can get to one of their lapidary classes or trips some day, I love John and his crew truly! I have sent a lot of people to this shop. Planning on stopping by soon to say hi to the friends!

“Perfect place to shop for the unusual. Whenever I'm in the area I hit all three stores. I've bought gear motors, relays, switches, capacitors, and lots of other parts for my projects. Thomas Edison would have loved this place.
I even bought a 50 pound bale of shredded money to use as packing for my pen business. You never know what you're going to find there. Need a drop tank for a fighter jet? They had one many years ago.”
“I know my friends who are true artists come here often, but I'm more of a hobby artist. This time I was treated very kindly by Cashier 71737 (their name wasn't on the receipt). I recently discovered Cyanotype. I previously used the kit (requires mixing chemicals) and I wanted to try the pre-treated sheets. I was led to the product area, questions were patiently answered, and she even asked if there's anything else before giving me space to ponder. I'm pleased with my new hobby so far.”

“If you love Lego, this is the off brand store for you. If you don't, this might be the store that converts you! They specialize in unofficial Lego, specifically military sets. You'll find jet fighters, submarines, humvees, and more. You'll still find a selection of official Lego sets along with stations to build your own mini figures.”
“Great Staff! Great Prices! Everything you want in a Gold and silver store! Wish I lived a little closer but I live close enough to justify once in a while. Can’t beat their prices anywhere else. What a clean and organized store. I am a kid in a candy store there. It’s fun to window shop to a little but, I advise going there knowing what you want with the set amount of cash your willing to spend each time. Otherwise it’s easy to get carried away. I recommend following them on their social media. Each Saturday they have fantastic deals that are worth checking into! ❤️ ?”

“Love Micheal’s. As craft store options become more sparse Michaels always has a variety of craft options. It’s better to in store than shop online in my opinion. They actually had a yarn for a project that I started a few years ago still in stock.

“Really nice and large game shop. Multiple private rooms available for rent. Large event area with nice tables and chairs. Coffee shop, munchies, and even selection of beer options. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful.”
“Sweets is my go to when it comes to kendamas. I ordered online and left a note asking if they could give me a well balanced kendama for the one I was ordering and they did! They left me the specs of the dama on my packing slip and gave me some candy too! Shout out to the sweets team for spreading the love really do appreciate it!”
“If I didn’t use self restraint, the amount of money I could spend here would be dangerous. The assortment of games and puzzles available here is wonderful, I imagine it would be a bigger challenge not to find something that will grab your attention here. Two player games, group games, role playing adventures, trading cards, classic puzzles, disc golf discs, or board games, whatever your cup of tea they will have something available for you. In addition to the selection of games to build your collection there is a great assortment of various accessories like creative dice or playing cards for a more invested hobbyist as well. They offer a rewards program if you expect to be a regular customer, and customer service is always friendly and helpful.”
“Michaels mostly competes with Hobby Lobby, and while I think Hobby Lobby is generally a better store for most people- this location is pretty solid. Good selection, fair prices and decent clearance deals.”
“I have always enjoyed shopping at this location in Har Mar Mall. It's clean and organized and stocked with good products. There's tons of parking, and they open earlier than most retailers.
Within the last couple of years, they changed all registers to be self-checkout. It works out fine most of the time, but it's a huge pain the butt if assistance is required. There are only ever 2 staff in the store at a time, so if they're busy with other tasks/customers, it's much faster to just cancel the transaction and start again than wait for help. I feel bad for the staff in general. They're friendly when approached but clearly stressed trying to keep up with everything.
Unless I'm in the mood to peruse the aisles for possibilities, it's less of a downer and hassle to order things through the app and pick it up.”

If I was driving back to Maine I would of got a neon piece, prices are very fair compared to east coast neon prices. Very happy with items purchased.
