“I have worked across the street for 5 years from this amazing butcher shop and I have been around longer than that but the people that work here are some of the most friendliest and personable people I have ever met! Not to mention the quality of meat that you get and there's so many different surprises that you find in here besides just steaks and beef. I love you guys and I'm so happy that you are close to the city”

Not huge so you don't need a map to shop The produce is beautifully fresh and all the food is wonderful. They have a few gifts and a nice personal care section with vitamins as well. “We bought a family pack thats prepackaged in the carry bag. So far, we've been happy with the burgers, but tonight we opened up the ribeye and was extremely disappointed. About 50% of it was hard fat and needed to be cut off. I wish we could have saw what was being packaged before buying it, but I guess that's a risk you run. Keep in mind, I still left about 10% of fat on the steak, but having nearly half of it not eatable made us alter dinner plans so my wife and I could get more than a few bites of steak.
Check your pre package meats so you dont buy stuff like this.

“Wonderful local butcher shop! Has all the regular meats you want and so many great specialty minnesota items like dried beef, potato sausage and a plethora of other hard to find meat items. All the people are friendly too and the wide selection of beef sticks (and venison and elk) were delicious! Definitely a worthwhile place to shop!”

My family loves Dragon Star Supermarket! The diverse selection of international foods and spices is particularly appealing. It's also been a staple for us, especially because it makes it easier to find a variety of African staple foods for my grandma to enjoy.
It's also worth noting that, although I haven't personally experienced any issues, some friends of mine have mentioned the importance of checking the expiration dates on the spices they might be expired or covered with a different expiration date.
This is a good practice to follow in general, and Dragon Star Supermarket seems to provide a good selection of international products, including spices.”

“We’ve been members for as long as I can remember. Great small co-op with excellent local selections. They’ve done a lot over the past few years to stock products that are price-accessible, though overall the selections are a little on the expensive side. The deli section never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and attentive.(The Hungarian mushroom soup was the best, but they haven’t had it for a couple years now!)”
