My wife and I took our nephew up to Mille Lacs for his birthday. The resort we were staying at wasn't running any launches so we had to look for another option. We chose Terry's and we definitely made a great choice! Everyone we interacted with at the business was so friendly and helpful. Our captains on the boat took care of everyone, setting up rods, baiting hooks, netting the fish, and went an extra mile by giving tips and teaching us things. They also made sure to get us to a spot where the fish were biting! We caught, some nice walleye, perch and a smallmouth bass! We will definitely be going back to Terry's next summer and you should as well!

First, what amazing people! They are so kind and helpful. The boat we rented is so clean and well taken care of. We loved that Terry showed us the best places to fish and helped us with our rigs. If we ever come up this way again, we will gladly rent from them again. Thank you both for a great time!!

Terry and his wife are great people. Their service is great and they truly care about the safety of their guests. Many of the other resorts on the lake will not give you the truth about the bite or ice conditions but Terry is a straight shooter and tells you how it is. He is my first choice of any resort on the lake.

This place is truly the up North MN fishing experience. These guys know what they are doing. They are all business about getting you those fish! They may seem a little gruff on the surface, but they are fun and ready to help catch lots of fish. We had a big group and the two guys kept working hard the whole time. I recommend you try it out!

We had a wonderful week on Mille Lac Lake thanks to Terry’s Boat Harbor! We rented the pontoon boat a few days and also did a night fishing trip. The staff at Terry’s were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Today is July 3,2024 and had I known the people in lodge were that hard up for money that they would play games with the price of chips and the crabby old captain was such a treat,i would've stayed home.this place was a complete waste. **update** per Terry's review response.ive read all negative resposes to this joke of a launch lol when Terry's does you wrong they show no remorse.the crabby captain also assaulted me as he kicked me to get by me instead of saying excuse me.being the bigger better person that i am i made sure the crabby a.hole didn't end up at the bottom of lake milleacs which apparently they think they own.to any unassuming customer i doubt these jerks would throw a life line if you went overboard lol

"What newfound 30 year-old wisdom can you give us?"
"Don't rent a boat from Terry."
A friend rented two boats for his 30th birthday weekend. One died on us in the middle of the lake. When we called Terry for assistance, he was condescending, rude, and offered no solutions. He quite literally left us stranded in the middle of Minnesota's second largest inland lake with no paddles.
Luckily, the folks on our second boat were able to help us get it started. Naturally, however, upon returning to the dock Terry continued to be patronizing and unprofessional, despite the fact that none of the gauges (including the gas gauge) on the boat worked and it probably shouldn't have even been legal for him to rent it out.
In case it wasn't clear, we recommend finding somewhere else to procure your boat for the day.
Edit in response to Terry's response: the boat was in neutral the whole time, it required specific finagling that Terry couldn't tell us since he simply could not and would not hear that his boat was malfunctioning. Not here for your sexist and patronizing business model, Terry.

Hey Terry-
We had the best time today. Mike was a great captain and the kid was awesome. We had 8 people on the boat and 5 of them caught their first walleye ever. The 11 year old caught 8 walleyes and a nice smallie. Everyone was great. We will come back soon.
