I don't leave many reviews on google anymore, but I was very impressed with this place. Dave, the owner, was extremely helpful to me, as I am disabled. Blacks Antiques is as rustic and authentic as an antique shop could be. A perfect counterpoint to Bad Dogs Antiques (perfect in their own very different way!), which is also in Gibbon, Minnesota.
Black's Antiques is a fever dream in Southern Minnesota. Absolutely not to be missed.

Such a fun shop, and the owner is the nicest guy. This is an old school “dig around” kind of place and it’s a lot of fun. I can’t say enough nice things about Dave. I only wish we lived closer so we could go more often!

This "Gentleman" is a hoot. If you like an item and you are not liking the price it is always negotiable. If you are looking for something you can't find anywhere else... Dave probably has two of them. I saw his place when I first moved to Gibbon and I was in need of a couple of things for the new house, he had what I needed and even left with a few things I didn't know I needed, beat the hell out of going to Walmart and paying 3 times that much.Check it out if you are in the area. He even has a fancier shop a couple blocks down, but I ain't that fancy so I just look through the window.

Driving through western MN. found Black's Antiques in Gibbon MN. Great shop, has a lot of "stuff" and bought a few things. Will be going back to purchase more items soon. Owner is great, has a great attitude and is very knowledgeable about his inventory. if you are anywhere near Gibbon stop in shop and visit. Also, don't bother stopping at the other place in town, it's not worth your time.
