About Valley of Peace Discovery Center for Early Learning
Lake Area Discovery Center, in partnership with Valley of Peace Lutheran Church, offers a Christian, school-based early childhood program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in Golden Valley. We provide flexible part-time and full-time care in a nurturing environment designed to meet each child’s individual needs through social-emotional learning, academic growth, and fostering a sense of being loved and valued as a child of God. Our classrooms, curriculum, and teaching approach are grounded in the Creative Curriculum and led by licensed educators who support hands-on learning and meaningful developmental experiences.

This is NOT a place you would want your child, grandchild or family member to attend. The providers are not qualified to be teaching education and do not know how to handle various situations. A care center is a place you want your child to feel safe, loved and learn as they develop. Do not enroll at this facility.

Tremendous staff that helps students succeed in their curriculum which includes reading, mathematics, writing, and science. They also teach children how to properly manage their emotions and obtain good manners. Very welcoming community.

I absolutely love this place! I've worked in daycare so know how bad they can be, so now that I'm a mother this is the place I want my kids to grow up going to! The teachers are amazing, they go above and beyond, and it is a family there! It's so great!
