DO NOT BUY DUTCHBOY PAINT. ITS A SCAM AND RIPOFF. IT IS A MIXTURE OF DIFFERENT PAINT COMPANIES. WATERDOWN TO MAKE YOU BUY MORE TO COVER BETTER. ITS MORE WATER THEN ANYTHING. CONCO PAINT IS NOW MIXTURE AS WELL AND THE STORE REPRESENTS NOTHING BUT DISGRACE FOR ITS LOYAL CUSTOMERS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO HURSHFILDS PAINT STORES. THEY ARE THE BEST PAINT NOW. 12/26/23 Demo on the kitchen began. Order# GLDV30219198 & GLDV302204881/6/24 we submitted final plans for countertops, filled with anticipation. We got the confirmation email that delivery would 1/20/24. We advised our installer and he scheduled a trip due to plenty of time. I inquired with Menards when I noticed the status changed. This is when the aggravation began. No one seemed to care at the store or would give a an explanation. I spoke to staff, assistant mgt and the store mgr, same unified attitude, NO ONE CARED. Menards assistant mgr inquired with Midwest mfg only by email “that’s Menards protocol”. Pressed for time, I did a search for Midwest mfg, I found a phone# and ended up speaking with a great guy Teg the production mgr. He cared and took the time to find the order, call me back to advise status. He pushed a section of the order and to get it loaded on the truck to Menards. I spoke the Menards store mgr, about this, he too didn’t care, I ended up giving him the phone# to Midwest mfg and he stated no apologies or explanation. I told the store mgr that situations like this you should call not email- ridiculous. I even tried to reach out to Menards Favebook page, some lousy person sent me a link, waste of time. We finally got the countertops delivered to our home 1/30/24. Still no reasons and no apologies or explanations. To add, my installer wont be back until 2/14/24 to begin. Meanwhile we have no kitchen or dining room because of kitchen stuff stored there. We use a microwave, the house is a mess. Each day that we eat dinner in the living room or have to eat out, we loathe Menards with each passing day. The Golden valley, MN store is the epitome of a lousy store with absolutely no customer service or care. And Larry The Menards Team, what is a lame link to a non-human going to do for us? This store and Co. Is the worst. I included order#, now you can call me.

I purchased some items from this store. Got home and was missing an item. Went back to the store. I was told that I took the item, they didn't have it and was refused to see their cameras. Two employees, at customer service, told me that I took the item that I didn't have. The next day, a guy approached me and told me that the employees had my item. He watched what happened and the employees had my item. They lied to me. The employees took it from where I left it at the check out. DO NOT TRUST the employees there. They will not help you and they will lie to you. This guy says that he goes there every once in awhile and he has seen the employees do this before. SHAME on Menards and their employees. They don't want customers with this type of behavior. Big store or not.

menards have managers stealing phones and making employees feel like they've done something wrong for having their property took from them. menards stay in the news and under minnesota state's investigation. so i don't expect anything better.

A manager tried to help me find some cat food that was supposed to be in stock; when we couldn't find it he blamed missing inventory partially on theft and blamed Governor Walz for "legalizing theft up to a thousand dollars". I did not appreciate this person bringing politics into a simple quest for cat food.[old review] Great prices on pet food & supplies.

Be careful when you making a online order on Menard. It is totally cheating customer , they put a very special order simple on website, and the description is not clear also. When we are want to return it, it is not a customized product. We were been told that it is specialOrder…. And we need to pay a stock fee…. And the people on the store is also very rude…..

Menards is where you go when you just need a part, a piece of lumber, it's basically the Walmart of hardware stores. It serves a good purpose. I do not go here when i need a recommendation based on experience, need a high end tool, or paint mixed correctly the first time.Customer service at this location is not the best, usually a large group of associates socializing instead of manning the desk they are working. If you ask if they have something, I've been told to Google it and see if their website says they have it, etc. It's also annoying that their escalator seems to constantly be down for maintenance.

i didn't know that managers will steal peoples phones (krissa from order pick up) and chad the general manager would protect her. he told that me that i didn't even know the sound was on or not. how would i know the sound is on if my phone is gone and stolen. he also said why would she return it if she stole it. maybe bc the location can be tracked? lol. i see why this store is currently getting sued.

I seen a rat running around. That can explain why when I bought cheese from there a while ago it had mold in it. I didn't even bother returning it. Just threw it out.

I do like this Menards and it's location employees tend to be fairly nice and informative when you need some information,The only criticism is; it should be open at least untill midnight, if not 24 hours.I have had many times where I've needed something to fix a toilet, shower or any number of things in the house at 2 in the morning and nothing is open.If anything a 24hr drive-up service with a couple employees that could grab it and bring it to a drive-thru window.Besides that I still like this Menards I frequent it quite often ?
