Theodore Wirth Regional Park is a fantastic and great park in the city, a big quiet woods and a gem. It offers numerous trails, both paved and unpaved, for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing, and is extremely well maintained. Visitors can enjoy nice scenery, magnificent colors, and different areas to explore like the Trailhead, a golf course, Wirth Beach, the Quaking Bog Trail, and an art exhibit. The process for ski rentals is super simple with good quality gear, though trails can seem limited at times. The park is moderately busy and provides a feeling of being in the country while being right in a major city.
The process of getting skii rentals was super simple, and the gear was in good quality. The trails seemed a little limited on the day I came, but that could have been due to the weather. Only real complaint is the price, which I wish was a bit lower. Great place to come for cross-country skiing
