Walgreen's is A#1 for price, quality, selection, and friendly staff!
My wife and I have been coming to this store since it opened.
We love the pharmacy drive-thru option ( saves us alot of time), also I realize with inflation the way it is, everyone has to raise their prices! At least Walgreen's, seems to be able to keep it from being ridiculously more than a year ago even on the name brand items. Yes, we will keep coming back to this store, always a good experience, extremely friendly staff, knowledgeable pharmacists, close to where we live, and still lower prices than any of the competitors in this area! Thank you Walgreen's in Golden Valley! P.S.: A shoutout to Elvie, in the Pharmacy department! Elvie, is such a nice person, patient, helpful, goes the extra mile to make you feel appreciated as a customer each and every time I come into the pharmacy!

Wanted to change to a different Walgreens pharmacy from the one on 42 and Winnetka to Medicine Lake Rd and Winnetka. Stopped at the Medicine Lake Pharmacy and asked how to do it. They said your prescription are in the Walgreens computer. We have them. My new prescriptions were filled at the Walgreens on 42

The pharmacy is always closed and IF it is open, they take forever to get your prescription.

I called to ask about my prescription for my ventolin inhaler, because I was having troubles breathing and needed it right away, the technician told me it would be an hour. Pharmacy technician was extremely rude. Raised her voice and hung up the phone in my face when I was asking if they could complete just that one sooner and I would wait for the rest of them. I ended up going inside the store to speak with her, but instead I spoke with the manager. I overheard her rudely telling customers, it's going to be a long long wait and that they should return tomorrow when they were asking how long for their prescription. This behavior is unprofessional an unacceptable. Some people are sick coming to get medication, and you're talking to them in this manner, which is not okay at all.

Shout out to, Josh!!! Thank you so much for greeting me at the door and asking if I needed help finding anything. And thank you for walking me back to the aisle where the product I needed was located. This is the best customer service I’ve had anywhere since being in Minnesota! This should be the standard at every Walgreens location!

I would not recommend using the Walgreens located at 2500 Winnetka Ave. The two pharmacists I've dealt with at this facility were extremely rude and unprofessional. In particular, the Chinese man, supposedly a degreed pharmacist, could barely communicate with his broken English and was very rude and unpleasant to deal with, even when I tried to be nice to him. Clearly no customer service skills whatsoever. In addition, they cut their hours and now close at 6 pm and are closed entirely on Sundays.

The staff at this Golden Valley location are always friendly and helpful. Jeremy is such a friendly employee and was quick to refer me to Lilly, the pharmacist, to check if there was any concern about an OTC interacting with a rx I was taking. I appreciate their time and attention!

GO ELSEWHERE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Pharmacy closes without notice and your prescriptions are held hostage, which is a problem when you have a family member who is very ill. Don't try to call, they will route you to the phillipines. They really shouldn't be allowed to operate like this.

I've been there twice today to pick up a prescription that was sent over for my son, by urgent care. The line was 6 deep, 4 deep in the drive thru and the order was not ready. The person assisting me said it would be ready in 2 hours. I went back about 4 hours later and one prescription was not ready, nor would they prepare it. When I inquired about tomorrow, they said there was no pharmacist on until the afternoon, so I can't even get pain relief for my son. This pharmacy used to be excellent but it has been horrible the past few years. Transferring my prescriptions elsewhere ASAP.

Horrible management, went to the Manager about an employee who keeps stalking my Son and I everytime we shop there, he blows it off like it's no big deal. Go in there today , his employee does it again. I think his name is Jeremy. So unless you don't mind having an employee stalk you, go ahead and shop there. CVS has better management, service, and a far better shopping experience.

The pharmacy staff is amazing. I know sometimes the pharmacy gets closed for a day and it is frustrating, but it is not the fault of the staff. They are always willing to help and go the extra mile. Thank you!

This pharmacy sucks, won’t update me on when my prescription will be ready and it’s been over 24 hours. I’ve been on hold trying to talk to them for over an hour. I will be switching asap
