Ordered eggs Benedict and omelet. Waited over half hour for our food. Hollandaise sauce was congealed, ham was burnt on edges, English muffin was hard as rock, hash browns burnt, my husband’s toast was actually burnt with no butter. If you think I’m exaggerating , I’m not!!!

I really want to give a 5 star as we have loved The Bluewater for many years. Sub par today for brunch. Cold food, coffee refills missing. Same rag to clean all the tables. I hope the new owners can make it.

food safety is the last thing on the minds of these new owners. having a dream and having ability are not the same. if you value your health, avoid at all cost.

It might have changed hands since I was last there, but now the food is just OK, and the service is fair.

Best breakfast in Grand Marais. Hearty portions, great food, and friendly setting. Our go-to when we visit.

After years of visiting Grand Marais this was my first visit, for lunch. I am a fried chicken fanatic, and they're broasted chicken was phenomenal as was the gravy on the home sale mashed potatoes. The iceberg lettuce garnish could have been saved.Parking: I was there on a Tuesday, somewhat off season, late fall, so parking was easy. Even in busy times, there are plenty of parking in free Lots a short walk away

Stopped here for breakfast. Service was awesome, the restaurant is clean & the wild rice French toast is out of this world. Best part is your coffee cup is never emptyThanks to all those servers & cooks for a great breakfast after coming off the trail for 2 days

Definitely one of the nice places in Grand Marais for breakfast. They do have traditional breakfast options and they are nice too. I tried wild rice cranberry french toast. It was nice. One star less as I have had better breakfast than that and I would definitely choose some other better options in Grand Marais for coffee.

Hands down the cworst breakfast I've ever had! Service wasn't good. The server never came back to see if everything was good or if I needed anything else. I had the Wild rice omlettee, and it had a teaspoon of rice & what would equal a cheesecurd of Swiss cheese. Couldn't eat any of

Proportions are generous and priced well. Best meat and potato style America restaurant. Grand Marais leans toward a more aclectic style of restaurant choice menu and this is a hidden jem. They were serving breakfast and lunch on limited number of days.
