Poplar Haus Restaurant, Bar & Cabins is a hidden gem and a great spot a bit off the beaten path on the Gunflint Trail, overlooking Poplar Lake. It features an amazing modern yet outdoorsy ambiance with beautiful and cozy comfort. The menu is unique, thoughtful, made from scratch, and delicious, with food described as incredible and exceptional. Guests highly recommend the Haus Burger and note the french fries are excellent and unique. It is a perfect place to eat after a hike or fish, and a staple for visitors to the North Woods. The atmosphere is welcoming and down to earth, with amazing views and a beautifully designed space that is a treat in both summer and winter. The attached cabins, like the Forager, are very cozy. The staff is noted as top-notch, friendly, and attentive.
