It is an absolute gem and an awesome shop, serving as a source for the best in quality outdoor clothing, footwear, and gear. It is also a very good last stop before the BWCA. The staff is a fun, lighthearted, kind, and welcoming group that clearly enjoys their work. They are always so kind and helpful, assisting customers all the way through until they are done. The business offers rental equipment for all seasons, including canoes and kayaks, with a super convenient 24-hour rental period. Beyond supplies, they offer many guided touring options like canoeing, kayaking, and mindful paddleboarding. These tours provide an amazing and unforgettable adventure, often described as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Guides are incredibly knowledgeable, leading guests to beautiful, quiet places and creating a great experience. The owner is notably accommodating, going out of the way to ensure customers have a wonderful time. There is something for everyone to enjoy, and the business is highly recommended.
My wife and I both love stopping here every time we come up for hiking and camping trips. The folks that work here are clearly knowledgeable and like what they do, and the selection is pretty great for a local outfitter. We'll definitely keep coming back.

We have rented canoes from here for Gunflint fishing trips and the staff are always so kind and helpful. The 24-hour rental period is also super convenient when renting over a shorter period of time. We will be back!
