Earlier this year I brought in a couple Jeep Grand Wagoneer axles to be refurbished for a restoration project. I was recommended Bishop's Performance Motorsports from a friend who had used them before. Chris and his team delivered. They sent updates and pictures of their progress as they went and handled some adjustments I needed to make to the order. Thanks much for all you guys do, I hope to use you guys again for future projects!

Rude, unprofessional and very over priced. Buy new it's cheaper than their rebuild. $3,600 quote for a 4l60e a complete rebuilt from monster with upgrades is 2600$Services: Transmission

Highly skilled, knowledgeable technicians. Might cost a bit more than some other places, but you often get what you pay for. Some places will charge less because they do less. Had a transmission "rebuilt" 20 years ago by a transmission shop. Cost $1,000.00 with a one year warranty. It burned up in 13 months. This is my 2nd transmission rebuild from Bishops. The first was performed 6 years ago and it's still running perfectly. 2 year warranty. I expect it will last far longer.

I recently purchased a collector car and it was leaking a little oil. I also wanted to have clutch and transmission checked for proper operation. Cris spent about half an hour performing minor adjustments and test driving my car. He answered all my questions and I was shocked when told I did not owe anything for his service. I will definitely use Bishop’s Performance for future auto repairs.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I cannot say enough good things about Bishops. My husband and I have been taking our vehicles here for several years. They are fairly priced and they know their stuff. They've saved us on more than one occasion.

6 out of 5 stars!! Bishop's saved me in an emergency situation!!My son and I were traveling thru town on an ice fishing trip when I started having engine problems. Not knowing the area, I randomly started contacting repair shops, including the Ford dealership, with all 5 of them turning me down because they were to busy to squeeze me in. I then got in touch with Bishop's who was buried in work as well but basically dropped what he was doing to get me back on the road!! I'm not from the Grand Rapids area but if I was Bishop's would absolutely be my go to mechanic. Thank you for making time for us in a desperate situation...without you our trip would have been over and my son and I would have very different memories of the weekend!!Service: Engine repair
