Rolled into Grand Auto Spa’s self-serve bays in Grand Rapids, MN, armed with quarters and a dream of a shiny ride. Chose the “High-Pressure Rinse” like a fool who’s never met physics. That sprayer? It’s got the soul of a vengeful garden hose on steroids. One twitch of the wand and whoosh, I’m the main character in a wet T-shirt contest I never entered. Kept me wetter than a goldfish in a rainstorm, face full of foam, sneakers squelching like soggy bagpipes. Car’s gleaming, sure, but I’m now 90% recycled runoff. Pro tip: Wear a wetsuit or accept your fate as human car wash. 10/10, will drip again!”

“A convenient store with gas pumps on a large lot on busy hwy 2 seems to be mostly a Minnesota and Wisconsin chain of stores to compete with the Kwiker.Can't miss the green and yellow scheme, the pumps will ask questions before you can refuel. I am not sure why all these stations in upstate Mn ask so many questions..and again guys, no I am not a member and don't have a card!Inside we have the usual clean well organized convenience store with plenty of take out options hot or cold. It's really getting hard to tell Lucky Seven from Holiday from Cenex from Caseys, you get the idea. At least we know what to expect. If you think they are all clean and look the same, travel to a southern state, like Oklahoma and stop in to a Circle K, whoa not in Minnesota anymore.”
