It really defeats the purpose of a self checkout when an employee races me to pick up the scanner before I do and forces me to stand there while he does the scanning and repeats the machine's instructions to me. Was there a theft in the store recently or something?

Very small store and only the basics. The workers are nice and most know what they are talking about. Be prepared to order most things that you want as this is a low inventory smaller store.
