While on the road we broke a cupboard door on our rv. We found Roth RV, called ahead and they were able to squeeze us into their schedule on short notice as we were driving across Minnesota. Fantastic customer service would absolutely recommend to friend or family.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of buying a destination trailer from Grand Rapids Roth RV, and I do mean pleasure! There was no pressure sales, yet thorough from beginning to end. Mike and his team were excellent with the delivery process! It was a tight spot, but no problem for them. They met all our needs in a difficult set up, worked hard in cleanup, and made sure things were working….all with a smile! Thank you Mike, Scott, and boys!!! Also, loved the cookies and mugs….thank you!!

We’ve had wonderful experiences with all 3 locations at different times- most recently we set up an appointment to have a distribution hitch installed and we accidentally had the wrong date and they still did the job for us on the spot with no waiting - Roth is so accommodating in meeting all of our needs, will never Camper shop anywhere else- we are on our 3rd Camper from them!

no hard sell or nickel and diming us to death...price very fair and no surprise add ons when bought....I am glad they also service units.... Roth has a great team, loved the mugs and cookies too. My only in general gripe is that GeoPro manf manuals are not good..wish a checklist of prepared things for service was available...we had a bad CO2/ gas detector in our new GeoPro...we got a bag of parts- all unlabeled for us to guess about. We are experienced RVers but this is really lax.

John Warren took time out of his day to help us find a way to get a spare tire for our fish house so we could get home. He was so willing to help us when we were in need and if you ever find yourself in this store, you should definitely ask for him!

Went to Roth, Grand Rapids, to purchase a new snowmobile trailer. They offered me a trade on my old trailer. We agreed on a price. The salesman – Randy - asked me to send him a copy of my driver’s license, which I did. I informed him when I would be there to get the new trailer and drop mine off. I had to drive 75 miles to get to the business. When I got there, I was then informed they – the store manager and the salesman - wanted a bill of sale as proof of my ownership. I told them they didn’t tell my they needed one and I didn’t know if I had one. They said they wouldn’t honor the trade until they had proof of ownership. I was also told that there was a DMV in town I could go to get proof of ownership, but I still needed a bill of sale to show them. They then told me I could write out my own bill of sale in the name of the previous owner and sign it. I should also make it look like the paper was “not new”. In other words, they suggested I forge the bill of sale!!! I was then told that “they would accommodate me by selling me the trailer and waiting until I gave them proof of ownership to give me the trade in!!! I told them they were not accommodating me at all, they were accommodating themselves. What a joke! I ended up not getting the trade until I could show proof of ownership, which I did when I got home and sent it to them that same day. I contacted them 8 days later and then again 12 days later, asking where my check was for my trade, and didn’t get a response. I texted them a couple hours later asking where my check was again. The response “It’s in the mail”. That was all. I asked when it was mailed. The response was “Tuesday or Wednesday”. I replied that they were all about customer service and got a reply they “had to wait for a check signer”. In the end, it took them 13 days to get my check to me!
In my experience, Roth RV in Grand Rapids has no integrity, are ok with - even encourage - to have customers forge a document, and then delay getting the customer what they agreed to in the first place. Their customer service, in my experience, is terrible. I will never do any business with Roth RV at any of their locations – Grand Rapids, Deerwood or Bemidji. Read the other ratings on Google before you think about doing any business with Roth RV. I wish I had.

Purchasing our camper was great. We got to tour several available models, and found our perfect camper. The problem came when I got a recall notice from Forest River about a safety issue involving no egress/exit window on the drivers side. I called Roth in mid August to schedule an appointment primarily because of the safety recall. I also asked if they would look at the stove that stopped working. I got an appointment for September 12 because it was a busy service time (not a huge deal), and the window obviously needed to be ordered. We dropped it off on the 11th, and I didn’t hear back from Roth at all. I called on the 23rd asking if my camper was done or if some problem came up because I hadn’t heard anything, and the guy said he’d go check and call me back. I did not get a call back. I called AGAIN on September 30th, and whoever I talked to said it looked like it was done, but wasn’t sure and said he’d go look and call me right back. He called back about four hours later and said they looked at the stove, found a manufacturing problem, but hadn’t don’t the window; in fact it hadn’t even been ordered yet! The camper had just been sitting on their lot for no reason with no call about it. We are coming up on a month with minimal communication and no camper to use. Who knows if I’ll even get a call if the window ever comes in or get installed? Will I end up being charged for the manufacturing problem? Will I be charged for the Forest River recall? I have no idea because communication does not exist here. I’d post a photo but I haven’t seen my camper in almost a month.
Update: apparently the window was ordered October 3rd and I still haven’t been called about its status. It’s also starting to freeze overnight and I haven’t had a chance to winterize it since it has been there since early September. I called last week for an update and was told “it will be winterized” but *shockingly* have not been informed if this ever happened. This is ridiculous. I’ve made 2 monthly payments for a camper I have needed to use but still don’t have, nor do I know what condition it is in. It probably has frozen pipes that will need to be replaced at this point, but I still wouldn’t know because literally NOBODY has contacted me about anything. This is truly atrocious customer service. I do not recommend Roth to anyone.
