We LOVE the selection of foods: large selection of cheeses, tea, spices, baking and cooking supplies,
oils, local syrup and honey and much more. They also have tasty snack foods crackers, nuts and chocolate. Being a member (low membership price) you get food at great prices. Support this gem of a coop! I wish we didn’t live so far away- Minneapolis!

Love shopping here when I'm up North! I like the dark chocolate covered peanut clusters, and the roasted, non-salted nut selection! Annual membership fee is $10, and then they upcharge you 10% on everything you buy. But it's worth it!

I have shopped at the Co-op for many years. They have the freshest spices, absolutely the best smoked string cheese, best assortment of nuts and so many other "bests" I can't begin to go there! It is all run by volunteers who are all the friendliest, smiliest people you could ask for. There is a reason they have been around for all these years, they are just the best!

Great selection of bulk spices/herbs & cheeses. Nice to buy smaller amounts of fresh spices that you may only need a tablespoon or so for a recipe...no waste from buying a full jar! Recommend buying wedges of Parmesan , then blending in a food processor to place in freezer. Helpful, friendly staff. $5 yearly membership!

For a little store, it offers a lot of things that you can't get at a regular supermarket. Their bulk grain (including different flours), and spices can be purchased in any quantity that you want. The spice selection is excellent. The cheese selection is also very good and above average quality. Even their shelf items are unusual and not found in most stores. We live 35 miles away, but look forward to our visits there.

Ahhh the cheese store. If you like really good, fresh cheese, this is the place. Lots of farm produce and hand made goodies. Highly recommended.

Today was my first time in this place, not even with a gun held to my head will I ever darken the door of this place! Rude! I came into the store, which has pathetic hours and is only open three days a week, and being my first time in the place, was observing what happened. Unlike the Crow Wing Co-Op, all spices and everything are behind a counter with an attendant to serve you. Nice, right? One gentleman brought up a container to the older girl working, she thanked him for grabbing it. So, trying to go with the flow, I grabbed the larger jar of ginger, then went to grab the container of cinnamon, being nice and accepting this was something people did here. Another dark hair bat came walking up and, with no tact or politeness whatsoever effectively scolded me for doing what another customer had done. I apologized and since I already had the container, brought it to the counter by the scale. Minnesota nice is a fallacy, this woman continued to b**** me out. I said this was my first time in the store, and simply stated I was just bringing it to her, and added the information about another customer whom had done the same thing as I had. The place was busy. It got worse from there, bad enough I was ready to drive to Brainerd for my spices. In addition to this, there are two cash registers, and two people behind the counter to check out. An older gentleman was ringing customers purchases up, and the other person, and older woman, was bagging the items, two other people waiting with carts loaded, and only one till open. Poor service. Hopefully there is a place in Bemidji that is polite and knows how to work with customers. The place is run by volunteers, and at least one would be better off working in Saint Cloud, at the prison.
