Minne-Teepee Resort is a peaceful and family-friendly vacation spot nestled in a private area of northern Minnesota. The resort sits between two lakes, Women Lake and IXL Lake, offering beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere with not many people around. The resort features cozy cabins equipped with two bedrooms—one with a full-size bed and another with twin beds and a loft with four twin beds—making it perfect for families. Each cabin includes a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove, and all necessary utensils, although towels, hand towels, and dish clothes need to be brought along. The bathrooms have a shower, toilet, and sink, with good water pressure and provided soap. On the property, guests can enjoy fishing on the lakes from docks or crossing the street to fish on 1XL Lake, where bluegill, northern, and bass are common catches. There is a small swimming area, a playground for children, and a fire pit in the center of the resort, creating a welcoming and relaxing environment. Activities include kayaking, fishing, and campfires, with the owners often joining guests for evening fires, making visitors feel like family. The resort also offers puzzles and clothes for purchase at the main building. While Wi-Fi and internet connection are limited, the scenic views, modern cabins, and friendly atmosphere make Minne-Teepee Resort a charming choice for a quiet escape. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the opportunity for outdoor activities, and the sense of privacy, with many returning year after year.
Can't say a single thing bad. Cabins were great, activities to do on resort and close to the water. Resort owners joined us for fires each night and really made us feel welcome and like we were family. Excited to return next year and you need to look no where else if you want to stay on Womens Lake.
