I live almost an hour away from this location in the twin city metro and I am SO pleased that this franchise is still going. As a kid growing up in the early 80's, I have very fond memories of riding my bike to my local Tom Thumb and getting my candy and soda.
This nostalgia prompted me to contact the Hanover store and see if there was a way to order any merchandise. The store associate was very helpful and said she would have to store owner contact me to see if there was a way to order online. Next day, the owner calls me and says that they don't have an online order process but said he would pop a few hats and shirts in the mail. WOW.....just plain WOW!
This is truly a hallmark of great family owned and operated business that still cares about people. I let the owner how grateful I was, and I wished him all the success and prosperity in the world. It is my hope that The Original Tom Thumb stores remain a Minnesota staple for generations to come! Thank you very much!!

My favorite neighborhood gas station. They always seem to have those last minute things I need so I don't have to drive further to a big grocery store. Always pleasant staff.
