I used to think really highly of this Ace Hardware but as soon as you walk in, they’re on you -like what do you want? What do you need-What is good sometimes but sometimes it’s very intrusive. You just want to go into the store and get what you want and not have them in your face respectfully.-
I went there today and it was a buy one tool get a battery free Milwaukee - as I am talking to the customer service representatives- she is a nice person -I asked which battery was free with this tool and then they got to looking at it and they’re like oh this is last month promotion -mind you it’s November 6 and it ended on October 31-So I asked if they were going to honor it -the store lead was like absolutely not and I stated it’s not my fault that you guys didn’t take down your promotion. He refused. He told I’ll just give you like a 5% discount and I was like you just lost a customer because they should have honored their error..
I personally will not be returning to Ace Hardware. I will take my business somewhere else whether it’s Fleet Farm or Terry’s.-

I'm gonna be honest, I normally stay away from these kind of hardware stores. The staff never leaves you alone, I must have been harassed 5 times while I'm trying to do some shopping. I'm guessing they think people are too stupid to figure things out on their own so they think everyone needs help. I don't know about you, but being treated like I'm stupid is a real thumps down.I would suggest that you just let people ask for help.
