Amanda has been amazing! She spent a ton of time with me when I first thought about making a change in vehicles. She then stayed in touch for over a year until it was the right time for me. When I did come in she was busy with another customer but introduced me to Yue who then took over. He showed me plenty of options and walked me through the details of each car. He even took me to a sister shop to find what I was really looking for! They both took the time to listen to what I was looking for and were able to help me find the perfect car for me! Thank you both! I appreciate you!

Buying the car was an ok at best experience. The sales guy tried but he wasn't trained and couldn't answer a lot of my questions. Finance guy was easy and pleasant to deal with. However, two hours after purchasing the car the check engine light came on. I contacted my sales person right away. I was told I needed to pay the diagnostic fee at $200. I said, I've owned the car for 2 hours. I was told you signed for the car so it's your responsibility for the fee. And if I brought it into their shop, paid the fee then they might possibly look into what they could maybe do but not likely. I already felt taken advantage of and I believe their service shop is just as crooked so there was no way i was bringing it there. After taking it to a real mechanic, the exhaust manifold was cracked, needed new o2 sensors, no oil in it and was lucky it didn't seize even though they told me and the sticker said I was good for a long time, also needed a new catalytic converter. But somehow it passed a reconditioning inspection. I quickly understood why I was blown off after asking several times to see the inspection. I have never gotten a return phone call from their general manager. Because a world class customer experience would have been them taking care of it given i had owned it for two hours.Worst customer experience I have ever had!!!! After talking to several other people this is normal business for them.

I agree with many of the low scores in this section. I live in S. Mpls and it is 30 miles each way. I leased a 2021 Grand in Sept. 2021. Lease is due up in Sept 2023. Mopar Mats: Purchased the Mopar floor mats for $182.00, new. The front mats leak through the corner locks around the lock pins and let salt through. The back mats are 2 piece and lock on top of the tunnel. They were never locked together on top of the tunnel. Detailing on pickup: The inside of the windshield and rear cargo windows were never cleaned. PermaPlate: Purchased the PermaPlate protectant for $1283.00, new. Had to bring the vehicle back for that, they gave me a loaner. Picked up vehicle when done and had to clean roof, pillars and hood around windshield due to lack of attention to detail. Rest of the vehicle looked fine.Oil Change: March 2022 first oil change: Oil on the engine cover, never reset the Oil Life setting. PermaPlate and body damage: April 2022, 1 month after the oil change, got a call that the windshield was never Perma Plated. Another trip and it was done while I waited by one of the customer service people in the drive in bay. A couple of weeks later, while cleaning snow off the vehicle, I noticed damage to the passenger door in front of the mirror between the door and the fender. The fender was pushed out and the paint was cracked and missing on the fender, about 1/2 inch long X ¼ inch wide. Looked like something got caught between the door and fender when the door was closed. This vehicle has NEVER been anywhere else for maintenance. The damage was done, not going to drive another 60 miles to show Hastings, so I waited until the next oil change in August 2022. Reviewed the situation with the Service Manager and he offered no explanation nor any kind of resolution. May 2023, I got a verbal quote from Caliber Collision, Mpls. for $2,000.00 to repair the 1/2 inch area. Got two more written quotes for $1740.00+ to repair the area. All described the work similarly because it is 3-stage paint, trim and logos are single use, and associated work to open the area up and blend the paint is labor intensive. Labor close to $75.00/hr and paint is expensive. It is about a 4 day job total. This is still open for discussion with Hastings.Oil change and Tires: Last oil change on 6/1/23, mileage 17,582. Again, oil on the engine cover, Oil Life not reset. Also, I was told the Michelin Premiere LTX 265/80 R18 tires are in a Yellow inspection status and good for a couple more months, after driven only 17,582 miles! Michelinman.com shows these tires have a mileage warranty for 60,000 miles for a 2021 Jeep Grand. One of the service attendants said Hastings can make me an offer on 3 new tires and 1 for free. I have the oil changed at approx. 4K miles, tires rotated and watch the tire pressures regularly. I asked Service if there is a warranty/pro-rate option and two days later, no answer. When I showed my surprise about needing new tires at 17,582, the response was "Well how much do you drive?". One look at the records and a little math should figure that one out.Registration: When Hastings transferred my old vehicle plates to the 2021, they set the registration renewal at Aug. The vehicle comes off lease in Sept. 2023. Now I have to go to DMV, show them the lease termination and they will pro-rate me 1 month and give me tags for SEP so I don't get pulled over for illegal registration which will cost about $40.00. Better than a ticket.Damage quote: During July 2022 someone hit the vehicle in a parking lot and broke the passenger rear light assembly and the bumper cover is slightly out of alignment. For those who know a later model Jeep with backup/crossign radar can not even back into a bush. So someone had to back into it. Hastings gave me a quote of $497.00 to replace just the light assembly. I purchased an authorized Chrysler replacement online for $250.00 and installed it in 20mins myself.I'm not buying the business approach posted on their website either.6/6/23 update - Brad Huppert left me a yelp text to see what we can do. 6/7/2

Highly recommend talking to Corey or Jordan! Both were very knowledgeable, kind and patient as we worked through purchase. They both clearly know thier cars!! Steve in finance was fantastic as well. He took the time to go through everything so we felt very comfortable with our purchase. I went in with a budget in mind and they worked to make it happen.I left in my new to me vehicle feeling like I knew this team of people and could call with any questions. This will definitely be our first choice when purchasing a vehicle.

I arrived to Hastings Chrysler in a hand-me-down, all-custom rust bucket with a dream and no hope of actually upgrading to something safer and more reliable. I actually bet against myself. Amanda made my experience painless and turned my dream into a reality?I would definitely recommend and will be going back myself for any future purchases!!

Hasting Chrysler Center is the real deal for customer care and satisfaction. If you’re looking for a new ride don’t be afraid to call; HCC has that home town auto dealer feel! Staff were welcoming and the sales reps are rocks stars.

Bought a jeep grand cherokee 2012 was used but apparently they don't go over their trade ins too good. Owned it little over month and engine check light comes on. Figure was O2 sensor. Well it was but the intake manifold wasnt put on straight. And costed me $1400 and im lucky if i put 150 miles on the car... Other than that its nice but whoever looks over their trade ins needs to be retrained or fired. Cuz the place i took it too seen this right away once they took off that black plastic covering over the engine...

Service department customer care is awful. I bought my Jeep in 2018 and have had every single maintenance item they’ve recommended done here, in order to comply with the warranty I purchased. I’ve had all good experiences until recently. It seems in the last 8 months they’ve added a new service manager who should not be dealing with people! Most recently I was in for a $500 service he had recommended prior (in addition to an oil change and tire rotation). When I picked up my car, it now had a new error message that did not exist when I dropped it off. He assured me that they were no where near the rear of the car so they could not have caused this new issue, which he thought could be a loose wire. I’m not entirely sure how they managed to not do anything in the rear with a 4x4 service, tire rotation and oil change. He said I would need to pay the $180 diagnostic fee and they had an appointment available in 2 weeks. It’s unacceptable to have to leave the service department with a new problem, and without them being willing to accept it could be something they caused. We will definitely be taking our cars and future business elsewhere.

Amanda Blessing was an incredible to work with. She made the deal happen even when the situation looked bleak. She pulled through and got me a fantastic truck

Terrible customer service! Had an service appointment on 1/31 at 8:30 A.M. Had to call each day to ask if our jeep was ready as I got no update from them. Was told they could not find the time to get to it. Finally after waiting four days, picked up our jeep today at 4:30 and we'll be taking it elsewhere! Had I left it they said maybe the could get to it the next week!

When I bought my 2021 ram 1500 a little over a year ago, the driver side door alignment, at the bottom, handle side of the door was not as it should have been. It didn't close completely, about 3/16 of an inch off. When I brought the truck in last week for a tailgate recall to the body shop, I inquired as if they could take a look and just align the door properly. After the body shop looked at it, they wanted to know if I would cover the body shop for a half hour of inspection work! No thank you, I'll take care of it myself.

While I had positive experience with Hastings Chrysler Center when I purchased my Jeep from Alex Beard, who is pleasant to deal with, I was at first disappointed with their Service Department, which gave me a whole bundle of fluid changes they call the 4x4 service, when I needed only one fluid changed. So, I gave them a 1-star rating initially. However, after posting the original review, getting a response from Bart of their Customer Service, discussing the situation with him over the phone and him agreeing to refund the services I thought I was not supposed to get, I would like to give a more neutral rating of 4 stars for their Service Department, given that their Customer Service seems to be trying hard to resolve issues. If you use Hastings Chrysler's Service Department, just be cautious when accepting repairs or maintenance that their service advisors recommend: ask to explain what exactly would be done and why before agreeing to the work to be performed.

The owner, Doug Erickson is a fraud… Doug claims his dealerships to be faith based and have Christian values but they practice slimy sales tactics and are completely dishonest. Shame on you Doug for gaining the trust of people though a shared faith and then taking advantage of them. Avoid Hastings Ford and Hastings Chrysler!
