I had a less than satisfactory experience at Carl's Auto Body. I took my vehicle there based upon a co-worker's positive experience after the left side of my car was damaged by a dump truck as I attempted to enter I-494 S.
I was originally told that they should be able to get the car repaired fairly quickly because they try to get the "easy" repairs done first. They were in possession of my car for 10 business days! When I drove to the shop the second week to check on the status of my vehicle, I was amazed to see so many cars in their lot because I was also told they could not find anyone who wanted to work. I truly believe they took in more work than they could handle given their staffing. Nevertheless, I was told that I could pick up my car on Friday.
I was told the car was ready and the work that I had requested, outside of the insurance claim, except for the adhering of a screen to protect my hood from rock chips, had been completed. When I arrived home, I notice that a poor repair that had been done on the right side of my car by someone else, which I specifically agreed to have Carl's repair, had NOT been repaired despite the fact that I had been told by the owner that it was repaired and I paid for the work.
I was asked by the owner to come back at the end of the following week so that they could complete the work (that had already been paid for) on Thursday and Friday. I told them that they needed to pay for my rental car since this was their mistake.
Before picking up my car a second time on Friday, I received a call from the shop telling me that the "rock screen" that they had in inventory and planned on adhering to my hood was not in good condition and I would need to return, yet again, to have that work done. I was very frustrated with that news. Fortunately, the owner of Carl's obtained "rock screen" from another location and had installed it by the time I arrived at 5 pm to pick up the car.
This experience with Carl's has left a bad taste in my mouth and it is unlikely that I would recommend them or use them again. The fact that the "insurance" work took longer than they told me it would, and the inconvenience of having to return for work that was supposed to have been completed and was paid for, plus the complete lack of any attempt by the owner to compensate me for my inconvenience and frustration has led me to write this review.

Great experience with Wade and everyone at Carl's! Work was done as scheduled and for the price quoted. Will definitely be back when we need other work done.

I had the front bumper cover replaced on my 20-year old Honda and was very pleased with the result. The staff is friendly and helpful. The turn around time was just two days and the pricing was the most reasonable of the three estimates I received.

I got three estimates from the bigger shops and then decided to check out Carl's. I should have taken my car right to Carl's and encourage you to do the same. Wade is the owner and he and his team are a pleasure to do business with. They are prompt, respectful, and communicate well. Wade was reasonable with his estimate and the work was of professional quality; my Mazda CX5 looked like new when I picked it up. I had access to Wade's cell phone and his email and could always contact him with questions. He handled the claim with the insurance company. The crew is equally impressive--Wade was not in when I came for my estimate and his painter was personal and professional when we talked through what I needed and he was proud of the company's work.

The professionalism that Wade and his staff show is outstanding. I had my vehicle in for repair and it ended up a total loss. Wade made sure I had a rental car, made sure I knew what to do with my insurance to get my claim paid to pay off my car and walked me through each step of the process.These guys went above and beyond for me, knowing the entire time that my vehicle was not going to be fixed by them..It’s very rare to find this level of customer service anymore. I will definitely be back in the future and recommend Carls Auto Body to my friends and family.

Highly recommend Carl’s Auto Body. I took my Tesla into the shop for an estimate to repair my right rear door, quarter panel and rear bumper. Ten days later I had my car back and the job was done on time, at the price quoted and the car looked beautiful—they even buffed out and repaired some scratches and blemishes unrelated to my accident. Wade and his team are truly professional and a pleasure to work with.

This has been a very good experience. The paint job was done in a very timely manner and I could observe the pride Wayne has in his work. He went past just doing the paint work: he checked seat belts and made sure other items were safe and secure. A very honest, and nice gentleman and that includes rest of his crew working for him.

Brought our car to get an estimate for a repair. They were able to fix right on the spot, touched up the paint. Perfect neighborhood repair shop. Excellent work. Professional and friendly. Highly recommended ?

Great service and communicated honestly and openly throughout the entire repair process. Incredibly fast turnaround on the free initial estimate - the team went above and beyond and cleaned/repaired portions of the car that weren’t required for them to do. My go to Body Shop from now on!

On two occasions I've gone in to have Wade look at some paint transfers I picked up from other cars or in our garage. The car did not really need any significant body work. At no charge Wade was able to rub out the paint marks. I really appreciated that courtesy. He did it while I stood there.THANKS WADE. I'd go there in a second if I needed any body work.
