I had carpet installed in my living room and hallway. There were noticeable bumps, due to not stretching the carpet properly. In addition, they left a visible seam, midway in the hall. They had to come back, repositioned the seam toward the end of hall, still noticeable. The owner was rude about the whole matter, just wanted to get me out of her hair. Be careful! Not to be trusted.

We had a less than positive experience with Carpet City. Installation for a two bedroom townhouse took 12 hours on the first day ending at 11:30 PM and went into the next day for another two hours. The owners attitude was,....so what. Anyone can sell carpet, service makes the difference which we did not receive.

I made an appointment with Hopkins tile to measure a room and purchase carpet. They not only did NOT SHOW UP but never returned my call when I called to ask why they didn’t show. Extremely poor customer service. They lost a sale.

If you are hoping for people who return calls, don't call here. If you are hoping for people who follow through, don't go here. Possibly one of the worst family run businesses in town. A frustrating experience with people who don't care about their customers. How they've stayed in business this long is a mystery.

Lori at Carpet City took time out her morning to go over carpet colors with me, and even a new paint colors for my walls! Lori is very knowledgeable and her installers were very professional. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Laurie (the owner) was lovely from the start. She came to my home and measured everything for free and even had my 4 year old help with the measuring tape. She was personable and friendly- Her employee James came out within a week of the down payment and completed the job by himself in our basement. James even stayed late and came back again after a few days to finish up due to our drain tiles just being installed he wanted to check that the tacks stuck as they should. I wouldn't hesitate again to use Carpet City. Thank you Laurie and staff for all of your help and advice. Kev and Family

Lori, the owner, is always patient & helpful to select carpets, from their large collection, that best suits our color needs, weave & price. I tried many different carpet samples at home for our open 3-level floorplan before I found the right ones & Lori supported me with my requests. Great place to do business.
