I went into the post office looking for a package that was set up for a re deliver. I would not be home for the re delivery. A lady of color helped me and Im so sorry I dont remember her name except it started with a C. It was 5:30 pm and I asked if there was a way I could intercept this package. She said that my postal carrier was probably in and disappeared for a bit. She came back with my package. I was blown away because I could tell she had a long day. I didn't ask her to do this.I sure dudnt expect it. She just helped me get my package. Im one who does homework before leaving a review. Whats it like for them, how are they being treated by management and customers. Usually when mistreated I find out that if Im honest, I could if handled things better myself. We expect so much from those who help us with little regard to there feelings. Just because there paid to serve doesn't give anyone a reason to be rude to them. Especially when there doing their job and something's are out of there hands. This is my opinion of course, buts its an honest one. I see all to often customers complaining about the silliest things that the employee has nothing to do with. Every time I've been at this post office I've given them a smile and I've gotten one back.

For context I order legal hemp products
When I have ordered to my apartment the packages have always been”gone missing” when scanned for out for delivery. They always tell me when I call, that the mail that gets left on the truck goes back to the post office, and guess what? It’s missing. Never gets found so I would settle for mail insurance and resends from senders to my parents house. Because Eden Praire apparently can deliver packages.
I recently bought a PO Box because I felt like that would be more secure. And that it would be impossible for my packages to “go missing” when they get scanned as “delivered to your PO Box”
I ordered four packages containing hemp products and they told me they weren’t delivered even though they said delivered to my PO Box. After the supervisor looked around the shipping receiving handling area twice and asking me for the tracking numbers he said that they couldn’t find them, I then Got visibly upset that my mail can’t even get securely delivered to a PO Box and that I was super upset due to the fact that it’s always Hemp products being “Lost”
He then went back a third time to look for my packages and they magically appeared. I don’t have any idea where he went a third time to find my packages but they obviously weren’t in the place they should’ve been..
I have filed a complaint with the USPS inspector service
This is absolutely ridiculous. I feel like I’m being targeted and my hemp products go “missing” but all my other mail arrives just fine
Like I stated above I have filed a complaint
If this happens again I’m consulting a lawyer
I can’t even trust my mail people to handle my mail that I spend my hard earned money on!!! Absolutely unacceptable

They keep returning my license even when the address is correct. Why are you putting only my license on hold at your location and not sending it out? Super weird

The REGULAR carrier IS AWESOME!!!!!! The fill in carriers don't even ring our office door bell to hand to us. Sometimes they just shove stuff under our door and we have to pick it all up off our floor. Other Fill ins also have rung doorbell and leave our stuff outside our office and then Leave right away. Which There have been ITEMS STOLEN. I have told carriers NOT to do this, but they DONT LEARN. This is Information Providers and I am the receptionist here who is responsible for what comes in. Very unprofessional when I have given special instructions as simple as ringing a door bell and physically handing over our mail or packages . Which they have delivered packages to wrong addresses Entirely and can't find.

I was waiting in line to get my passport done. I waited for quite a while. Then, they said they couldn't help me because I was late. I'm not sure what to do. I guess you have to get there super early in case there is a line. I think I may have been a few minutes late due to traffic and getting lost, but I was in line probably for 7 or 8 minutes before they could help. Then, they said they couldn't help me. It's no wonder this place has horrible reviews. I'm really upset because I took off work to get this done. I will never use this post office again.

That lady Rachel needs to change her attitude. I went with my friend who is an international intern and new to the country and never sent a mail before. My friend asked for help to complete the form and she just said step aside and when you are done get back. Then, my friend did it and she showed her passport for id and the lady looked at her like almost saying what are you doing dummie? Please Rachel check your attitude!!!

Gina the supervisor is the worst and Rachel the window clerk is like her sheep. After I was expecting a redelivery for a week, there had been no movement, I called in to track my certified mail which held my rental check. Gina informed me that she’ll have it sent out the following day.
The next day came, NOTHING! I called numerous times and finally got Gina on the phone, asked for an update, she placed me on hold for 15 minutes and never came back to the phone. I called back a few more times, no answer. I had to leave my house after having a hard surgery to go in person to check on my mail. I explained the issue to Rachel who didn’t listen. She went to the back, came back and said they couldn’t track my mail, after there was already an attempt to deliver to the correct address so that made no sense and now she’s telling that she can’t track a large lump sum check as if it’s nothing. Rachel told me to never check off redeliver on your pink slip as it never works and to just come in person to grab your mail which is ridiculous. Why give customers this option if it doesn’t work, what if the person is handicap? Anyway, I asked to speak with the supervisor and after she was ranged 4 times and 30 minutes later, Gina the supervisor never came out to speak to me. I asked for Gina’s manager number, Rachel said “she is the supervisor” smh. Seriously like who hired these people?
Long story short and on the verge of receiving a late fee for rent due to this post office negligence, I contacted Office of Inspector General (OIG) and made a complaint. The next day OIG contacted me informing that they’ve called the post office and that they “found” my check and that it will be delivered today. Thankfully it was and I didn’t receive a late fee behind these rude people.
Customer service doesn’t exist here and be prepared to contact OIG if you have any issues with them!! I’m prepared to make another report if necessary as the treatment I received especially after a surgery is unacceptable and despicable.

I had to return a package that a company charged me for on accident. I rarely use USPS outside of regular snail mail, so I didn’t know their process for returning packages. The company sent me a return label, so I assumed that all USPS would do is scan the label and print it out for me. Nope. Of course it can’t be that SIMPLE in the year 2025 - they do not do that. According to them, “if your return label is revealed, you have to print it yourself. If a QR code is sent, they’ll print it.” What the heck is the difference? I had to run to FedEx to print the label - which they did free of charge! Super outdated experience.

Not handicap or wheelchair friendly. All three automatic doors and the chair lift are broken and have been for some time. The stairs are steep and often wet in the winter. Staff are friendly but the building isn't maintained.

I want to give a huge shoutout to the USPS team in Hopkins, MN, for going above and beyond! On a Saturday, they called me back and one of their staff members stayed after hours to make sure I could pick up a package containing live shrimp that couldn’t be delivered the day before. Thanks to their kindness and dedication, all the shrimp arrived alive and safe, and I was able to bring them to their new home. Amazing customer service—thank you so much for caring!

Can't speak to their counter service but they require an appointment for some of their services and I tried for two days to call their telephone number and they never answered. Recommend using private service companies.
