the salesman at Mauer told me two of the advertised discounts didn't apply to me. I should have dug deeper because they both did. i had a Costco membership that he told me didn't count. I also had bought two other cars from them in the last ten years but my repeat customer discount wasn't good. Both were advertised and should have been good. He actually told me that Mauer was losing money on the price they were giving me. Total crap. Do not go there, there scammers.

I used the online system to book my appointment. Entering my VIN I was made aware that I had two open service items for "chips" to be installed for seat heaters and rear park assist. Once I arrived at the service desk I was informed that the parts would need to be ordered and that I should have called ahead to do so. Nowhere in the process of setting up the online appointment did it indicate that I should call to confirm parts were ordered. I would think that if that were necessary then the site would indicate as such when these items were selected for service. The service manager put the order in and informed me that it may take a couple of weeks for the parts to arrive at which time they would call me and schedule another appointment. The initial appointment was made to have these two items installed, but I decided since it was going in I would have the oil change and tires rotated. This was a package item I selected from the appointment site so I assumed that the service manager had what they needed. Somehow there was confusion on the tire rotation as the service tech asked no less than 5 times in a 3-minute conversation whether they would be rotating the tires for me.Upon returning to pick up my vehicle and knowing that the service tech seemed distracted I asked the cashier to confirm that parts were ordered. Parts were indeed ordered, but the wrong parts were ordered. Instead of seats and park assist, a steering wheel and something else were ordered. The cashier was kind enough to go to the parts dept and have the order changed to the correct parts. This was a great catch on her part and I genuinely appreciated the extra effort made to correct the order.The icing on the cake! I finally leave the dealership, drive about 5 miles, and notice that the engine light is now on. So I loop back to the dealership, drive directly into the service bay, and point this out to a different service manager who quickly figures out that the service tech left the oil check (dip) stick unseated. Quick fix sure, but now they needed to take it in back to clear the code which took another 10 minutes.All I wanted was to have the parts that should have been in the car when I purchased it over a year ago finally installed. Instead In the end, it turned out to be an overpriced oil change and tire rotation with a bunch of confusion, uncertainty, and time waste. Hopefully, when the parts arrive they are correct and it is the most uneventful appointment ever.I currently own 3 GM vehicles and have owned 9 over the years, 4 of which were new. I love the vehicles and will likely continue to purchase them, but have generally avoided GM service when possible. As a "lifelong" GM customer I wish service matched the vehicle quality.Regards,James B.

Would NOT recommand this Dealer to Anyone! They DO NOT take care of their Customers! Of course after I signed the papers I have been thrown to several people and nothing taken care of. Buying a Brand New Vehicle in Jan 22. Even in Mar of 22 the Breaks were making a horrible grinding sound and had to fight with them to get it in to fix since it should not of been happening. When I bought a Brand New Chevy in Jan 22 and had to wait for the Chips for the Heated Seats come Summer 22. Totally OK with that. Then heard nothing, called in Nov 22 leaving a few messages and still nothing. Then got back to me and said I could not get a loaner and would to wait the hours to get them installed after they ordered them in. Never heard a word they came in. Tried to ask other options for them not being installed and throw around to several people. Finally put a comment out on their website End of Oct this year & bam....Email immediately that they would take care of me and get them ordered when I specifically said I wanted the Money for NOT having them installed since this has gotten out of hand and I should of already had them well over a year ago & still do not! We this email has gone to like 6+ other people & NO ONE is stepping up and getting this taken care of! They are trying to tell me that they would get these ordered and be happy to Install them for Free!! Ridiculous, as they should of been Installed for FREE to begin with! Then trying to tell me they can't pay me for these (that are still not in my vehicle) since I got a whole Whopping Credit of $45.50 when I bought the vehicle due to it not having them available then! That is a HUGE lie, as I have 3 Friends that have gotten well over $2K back for not getting them! BBB, Consumers and others will be getting notified of this.

The maintenance team took my concerns seriously, inspecting the exact warning light that was the basis of the appointment. I did not have to negotiate or 'haggle' to ensure my warranty privileges were utilized and at pickup my technician knew which sensor had failed without having to look it up or ask the maintainer!

Horrible service i bought a new Colorado truck had it in 5 times each time they told me it was fixed it never was! They replaced some parts still not fixed i thought i bring it in 1 more time to see if they could figure it out turns out all it was that a bolt on the lower control arm was loose which they said they tightened and they also replaced the control arm which required them to retighten new bolt still not fixed finnaly they figured it out. I wrote a letter to management they never got back to me .

Dennis was great, and so easy to work with. We appreciated his easy going manner but also straightforwardness. This is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from Mauer (2 from Anoka - we love Chris in Sales there), and it is just refreshing to be able to sit down with someone and feel like you've known them for years.

I like the vehicles they have and they seem nice but the vibe in the place is a shark tank.They overcharge their services. Wanted me to spend $300 on something I can get done for $30. Got upset on the documents that I declined some service and put exclamation points.Paid almost $500 for them to Diagnose ecm and an engine control update. I’ve only had the car 2.5 years and it’s only 5 years old with me as the only owner.They refused to fix the shifter that was just fixed last year, if you just fixed it recently, it shouldn’t break right away.I miss the free rental cars when you car is in the shop, other dealerships still do this.I like to be loyal as I have the last 8 years but I will be finding another mechanic I can trust not to run my money.

I made an appointment for 9:00 for an oil change and to fix the tire pressure sensors. They told me they would call when they were finished. I showed up at 6:00 closing time without ever hearing from them. I was told they did the oil change but needed permission before fixing the sensors. I said ok making the appointment should have been permission but NO ONE called to ask. He said well my mechanics all leave at 3:30. While I was standing in line to pay for the oil change I got the text my car was done and ready for pickup. Would not recommend nor will I be going back.

Went in for a car for myself and had such a great experience with Adam as our sales guy. It felt like any other conversation dealing with him. And Johnny from finance was a complete riot as well. We enjoyed our purchase experience so much we went back for a truck. Even John the sales manager was in on the fun. Hands down I'd recommend this trio!

My appointment was scheduled for 10:00am, was told that it would take an hour and half, so I expected it to be done by noon. I called and asked about my vehicle and received a run around then placed in someone's voice mail. I was not at all happy, I received a text that my vehicle was done a 1:30. I to have to rearrange my schedule in order to make this work in the expected time frame. I still have not been able to pick up my truck because I was booked all afternoon and again this morning. According to the paper work it took the technician 70 minutes to complete the warranty work, there was no reason that my vehicle should not have been completed in the expected time frame that I was told and had planned on.Very disappointing

I had an Appt 9:30am for an oil change and tire rotation, my car was completed at 11:30am. 2 hrs for these services is unacceptable in my opinion. The service department on this day was under staffed to assist the amount of vehicles, customers, and phone calls coming in when I arrived and picked up my car.

Mauer Chevrolet in Inver grove always treats us well. We have been coming here since 2016 when we bought our first car. Chris is great and the service department is always great as well! We have just bought/traded in our 3 vehicle and couldn’t be more happy!

Brought my car in to have a check engine light evaluated. Discovered the problem was more severe than originally thought. The person helping me was able to offer me a loaner when we discovered they needed more time to fix my car. The loaner met all my needs and was a delight to drive. The shop did a great job of getting my car back to me in quick order. Using my Costco discount and my reward points was easy since I followed the advice of the gentleman helping me. Since I got it back my A/C feels like it works better and the car seems to run better overall. It was a pleasure to work with the shop and the dealership in general.
