The owner was so nice, gave me some great tips, and introduced me to a few things I had never used before. The dinner that I served was amazing, and I’m so glad to have found this great business!”

“I love how La Chiquis is a little store that seems to carry almost everything I need. They do have a schedule for Tamales (referencing review by Nichole R). They get the tamales and other prepared food Friday night or Saturday morning and have them until they are out. If you don't see it on display, you can ask what they have in the back. Everyone is friendly and bilingual.”
“Wine, beer, and spirits store attached to our local favorite market. Pretty good selection for a small shop. The staff is top-notch. You pay a little more than you would at a dedicated liquor store, but I like the convenience of combining grocery shopping and booze shopping at a single stop.”

“I wish I could give SIMEK’s a million star rating. They are truly one of my all time favorite brands. I first bought their Kids Mini Breakfast Sausages for my grandkids, they are cute little meatball shape. Now they’ve become one of my own favorites too. The kids also love the kids little beef ones too, and honestly everything we try from SIMEK’s is a hit.
Their Italiano lasagna, ziti, ABF Angus meatballs, and Gluten Free turkey meatballs are all ammmmazing! It feels so good to serve food that tastes amazing and comes from a company that cares.
What makes Simek's also stand out even more is who they are. Women owned, local and every time I buy one of their products it generates a meal donation to Feeding America. I do not know any brand that cares this much and does what they do! That is the kind of impact I love supporting.

“Went in fully expecting tanks of frogs, maybe some fancy French frog legs in the deli case. Nope. Zero frogs. Just sad bananas and warm Monster cans.The real vibe is the back stairs. Every 30 seconds some dude in a hoodie speed-walks up to the apartments above like he’s late for a very specific appointment with destiny. One guy asked me if they sold “just the legs.” Felt that in my soul.Place smells like old taquitos and regret. If you want actual frogs, keep walking. If you enjoy light chaos and not asking questions, this is your spot.”

“Great place and excellent services. EXCEPT Starbucks Coffee. Just don't get it as why their coffe testy nothing but milky . I had several orders there, customers services are great even at Coffee shop but I will never try to get any kind of coffee there again unless they make sure the test is improved. I even asked for extra shot to get better test of coffe , doesn't even test like a coffee. I had to take it out and just discarded it. NO coffee at this location for me.”

“Went to this location as I was in the Towne Center area. Didn't know they were even there until I spotted them. Usually I go to the Route 13 location off Cliff Rd and Route 13. With that said.
Employees were courteous and helpful, and gave up some military love on the price. The employees went out of their way to cut up 4 T-Bone steaks that were HUGE!!! Great service and huge selection of meat, cheese, and bread even. They are a bit pricy, but worth it. Made this disabled veteran's day.

“I go here regularly and speak very little Spanish and still get very good service. They are a small store and as of recently business has been slower for a lot of Latino owned businesses so having a lot of old stock is expected but could still be managed better from the looks of other reviews. That being said I have been purchasing from this store for almost two years and have never received anything spoiled or expired. They have a very good meat selection, the tamales are great and I usually buy extras to freeze for a later date and I am met with a smile almost always. Give more small stores like this a shot, establishments like THIS are what makes us a great country. As far as price goes sometimes things can be spendy if you’re comparing to Walmart but reasonable if you’re comparing to Cub, Whole Foods or Hyvee, but the price of Chicken did go up here which has lead me to shop here less.”

“If you need a spice for any cuisine they probably have it! Fresh fruit and vegetables Cub doesn't carry. Meat and seafood as well as a small prepared food counter. Jeweler at front of store. Prices aren't bad considering they're going up everywhere.”
