Place opens at 7 according to the store hours posted on the door. Here at 7:45 and the store still isnt open. There was about 5 vehicles outside waiting for the store to open. 3/4 gas pumps are inoperable. Also, fuel prices are the highest in the area. Was hopeful once the new owner took control that some things would improve but that's not the case. Disappointing as its the only store in the area

Great general store near our resort. Very friendly staff. We appreciated the variety of food pantry items and snacks. Also, was glad they had post card stamps and a US Post Box right out front! Who sends post cards these days? We do! Our grown kids love getting post cards from our trips.

We stop in here and buy stuff we need when we stay at the resort. Great place to get ice cream as well.

Stopped for gas and a snack.
This is a cute little store/gift shop.
Ultimately had to get some ice cream and i was shocked with how huge the portion was (in a good way!)
What a nice treat

Literally the best stocked gas station/convenience store/gift store/bait shop I’ve ever been to. They have everything. Stopped in for a coffee and ended up spending a lot of time looking around and left with unplanned souvenirs.

This place is a staple to the local area and lodges. Has most all products you would need for fishing, camping, gift shop, fuel, firewood bundles, and more.

We absolutely love this place when we come up from SW Michigan for our annual Kabetogema fishing trip. Their gift shop has lots of cute stuff, they have some grocery type things if you forgot something, and we love coming here!

A nice place to stop for ice cream on the way to I Falls, of course, gas also. They also have a nice selection of gifts and clothes.

I found a delightful comfy, red-plaid swing coat/wrap in the back of the store at the "clee-rinse" rack. I didn't ask about the play on words, so that's a mystery for someone else to solve. On this early April trip we were happy to find anything OPEN. The general store was open, moderately-well-stocked, clean, and friendly.

Any trip to Kab is not complete without a visit (or several) to the township's premiere general store. This is always my first stop when arriving, and my last stop when leaving. They have almost any necessity you may require for your trip (gas, bait, food, ice, fishing equipment, ice cream, etc) or even for general home maintenance (plumbing, electric, etc). The great thing about this is that otherwise, you would need to travel 40 minutes in any other direction to find the same items.I will keep coming here indefinitely. Gateway has always been part of my kab routine. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and unless I'm looking for something extremely unique, they will be able to help me find what I'm looking for.If this is your fist time coming to Kabetogama, then you need to also ride the walleye.

Decent spot to stop for snacks and drinks. There's touristy things too like bumper stickers, sweaters, hats, etc. The bathroom situation is interesting.

This place is a must if you stay/live in Kabetogama or are going camping at VNP. They carry everything! Fresh produce is very limited. But they have clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, dish soap, office supplies, household, gas, propane, and more... I frequently stop here. Live here all summer! Love it! Friendly staff ice cream and liquor store too!
