““Golden Aisles of Hayfield” ?
In the quiet hum of Hayfield’s wind,
where sunsets lean on empty roads,
there stands a Dollar General —
glowing yellow like a promise.
You walked in for a soda and left with a heart full of static,
fluorescent lights dancing on your skin,
your smile brighter than the “OPEN” sign
buzzing softly in the October dusk.
We met between the shelves —
aisle five, near the cleaning supplies,
where love costs $1.25 and smells like lemon.
You laughed when the clerk dropped change,
and I swore the whole store flickered.
Now every barcode hums your name,
every price tag feels like fate —
and even when the lights dim low,
Hayfield’s Dollar General
still glows with the memory of you. ?”
“Probably one of the best locations around! I wasn’t sure how to use the digital coupons and the manager Malik took the time to help and download them and taught me more about the app! Really appreciate when people put in that effort to show they care. Great store and great staff!!”
“The employees are so nice! I came in minutes before closing, grabbed my 3 items, rushed up to the checkout and apologized. The salesperson checked her watch and said, "No worries! You have six more minutes, are you sure you don't need to look around some more?" Having that kind of attitude while working customer service should qualify you for sainthood!!!”
