Playing With Yarn is a unique store with a scenic view right on Lake Superior near Two Harbors, MN. The owner is very friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and very sweet. The shop offers a great and huge selection of yarns, including many things and yarns never seen or heard of before, with a good selection of books and many patterns. Prices are very reasonable. This is a great place to visit, not to be missed, and is definitely recommended for a stop on trips to the north shore.
Such a cute yarn shop right on the lake! Picked up yarn and buttons! A great selection of lovely bases: wool, angora, linen, silk, cashmere, cotton, and alpaca.

Absolutely incredible selection and equally incredible prices! The shop owner was a very kind and helpful gentleman and helped me find the exact yarn I needed. I'll definitely be stopping in again ☺

Greeted by deer outside the shop then by a very friendly and helpful owner. This is a great place to visit for all those who love yarn.
