“I took three of my guitars to SEE Music for Tom to work on them and, like many others have commented here, I experienced a transition in my instruments that I did not realize was possible. One of the instruments was a really old cheap acoustic (a life-journey instrument), another was a mid-range Taylor acoustic, and the third was a PRS S2 series electric -- All three of them came back sounding and playing better than ever. As many others have noted, Tom takes his time to explain what he does and why he does it. He listens to your requests carefully and executes with precision. His education and reputation are distinguished when it comes to luthier-ship... If that's a term. Very highly recommend and give grand shout outs to SEE Music & Dr. Tom. Anecdotal side note, I'm an adult now but I even used to come to this place for renting a violin for use with Mrs. Becker's strings class at Roosevelt Elementary back in the day -- Mrs. Becker can be reached for strings lessons through SSE Music to this day! (according to their website) She was a huge influence for my love interest in stringed instruments overall.”
