“A nice antique store right in town. Not huge, but a good assortment of items. Quite a bit of fishing related things. We’ll organized and stoppable. Nice staff too.”

“Such a lovely gift shop! In such a lovely little town. The historic shop on the corner near the Lake city Marina is a great location. The variety of gifts, clothes, and speciality items is impressive. Don't miss upstairs! It's just so pretty!”

“Stockholm just got even cooler with the addition of a record store. It's a total hidden gem, located in the basement of the Purple Turtle, just off of the main drag in this cozy little town. Walking in, a record was playing, and the owner was happily pricing records behind the counter. She stated she had just opened and was in the process of pricing her items. I found the condition of the records to be impressive, with no beat up covers, and the vinyl I checked out to all be VG or better. Knowing the store had recently opened, it was rather fun to flip through the bins...roughly sorted, and find items I'd been looking for: two Leonard Cohen LPs and a Throwing Muses LP were nice finds. There were more in the bins, but a guy has to keep a budget! A good amount of the records in stock right now come from some recently closed shops, one being the Vinyl Cave in Superior, Wisconsin. This could help explain the great folk collection in this store....I loved stopping in Superior on trips to Duluth just to visit the cave. If you're in Stockholm for a pie or two, some art, or staying at the B and B....stop in here for a vinyl treasure! I was assured by the owner that she has a large supply of records to stock this store....and heck, basement record stores are awesome in their own right. Side tip: check out the vintage T-shirt rack to the left of the counter.”
