This store is a great place to explore and find beautiful items and decor from the present to past. My husband and I, finally met Greg the owner today and he is a pleasant person to talk too. I plan to visit again to meet his wife and discuss a few things including one of our passions "Agates". My fellow rockhounds its worth a visit to help a small business out during these difficult times we must all stick together and save our local businesses. I picked up a glass item today that fits my collection perfectly. Stop by and enjoy the music while you shop...?

Amazing antique store. The condition of most of the antique items was unbelievable. Also there wasn't so much stuff crammed in here that it was overwhelming. Very nice balance.

We had a grand old time just wandering around all of the vendors and seeing so many antiques. Being from CA I did not grow up around things like that. I actually was looking for a Betty Boop for my hairdresser but didn't find one. My step sis found two horny toad sculptures- a boy and a girl.Very funny. I saw some things I would have loved to take home but suitcase was already very close to the uppermost weight allowed by airlines. We did this on our way to Wabasha and it was a pleasant stop. Don't know how often it is held.

Lakeside Antiques is, hands down, the best antique store in Lake City! Lakeside is easily the number one antique store in town and the best anywhere within an hour drive either direction on Highway 61. Lakeside isn't huge but it's packed with quality merchandise. This seems to primarily to be because it isn't an antique "mall", it's family owned by a husband and wife. So they're free to sell whatever they want...instead of a ton of vendors cramming little nick nacks into little spaces. The owners definitely know their stuff and they definitely have an eye for quality and unique items. It shows. As a side note, I noticed that they have a fair amount of Red Wing Pottery items throughout the store. They also have a good number of Hamms Beer items peppered around the store. It's cool to see locally produced antiques. Definitely worth the stop if you love antiques and if you're in the area! -Daddy Maxx Retro
