Eccentric, quirky one of kind find. An odd assortment of organic, natural and farm fresh items, collectibles and antiques, herbs and spices, household items, plants and a whole lot more. Older gentleman was very talkative, informative and his two beautiful dogs friendly.

To be completely frank, the place needs a major refresh. It was creepy to be polite. The giant spider web to greet you and pungent aroma were highly unpleasant. It could be awesome but needs maintenance to get there. They had some awesome historical pieces inside and beautiful cats that are sweet and could use a visit.

The Oak Center General Store is a piece of old Americana set up as a welcome pause for the traveler. It is a flashback to a period where these stores offered varieties of items for many types of people. You enter through an avenue of plants into a high ceilinged room where the walls and cupboards display many different types of products, many organic. Every book and cranny has it's own little pieces of magic spread around. Over it all is a thin layer of dust to serve as a reminder of how it must have been in the day. Coffees and beans, with mushrooms, fruits and veggies in coolers mingle with different names of pops and other drinks to offer the traveler.A great place to stop and shop, with the gray bearded owner offering a friendly tone.
