US Gas is a business with great food at very low prices. Homemade treats like sticky buns and Banana Crumb Coffee Cake are made on site daily and are delightful. They offer daily lunches for a low price. The business also functions as a bait shop with fresh, well-bubbled live bait and an uptodate tackle section featuring lures that work best for nearby Lake Pepin. There is a good variety of groceries for campers. The staff is friendly and the homemade breads and patients are really good. Many items are homemade, except for the pizzas. It is a popular spot, often with a line out the door.

The homemade treats are just delightful and seems to be a reflection of the staff. Miss Marilyn is a lovely person to chat with.I wish I bought more of the Banana Crumb Coffee Cake, it should be called no crumb left behind! I’m eager for my next stop!
