You seriously can't have someone to answer a phone?? I've been to 100 under staffed restaurants and I have never seen one that wouldn't take a phone call to answer a potential customers question. I'll take my reservation for 17 somewhere

Went to see Mitchell Hall and the Tennessee Trio, a Tribute band to Johnny Cash. The band performance was very good, with Mitchell Hall focusing on early Johnny Cash. The food which is normally good was not last night.

Looking forward to another visit to the Chart House! Great atmosphere, history, and music. Especially wonderful is the patio seating in warm weather. Don't miss it!

Enjoyed listening to a band there Friday night. Service was terrible on the bar.I asked for a beer but I'm the bartender didn't come back for my order.Probably won't be back. Maybe for dinner, but not in the bar.

Stopped by late afternoon on a week day and ordered what was on special artichoke chicken on flat bread with pesto garlic sauce sounded great but seemed to be a little dry. It could have used a little more sauce, I believe, but overall, with the drinks, the price seemed to relate. Very nice establishment right on the lake. I'm sure that it is a lot more for what the place has to offer on the weekends and holidays and days with live entertainment. Not to mention, during the summer months, with all the outdoor seating on the patio overlooking the lake. Only a handful of locals enjoying happy hour with a bite to eat in a large establishment such that it is, it seemed vacant, but I will stop back on a beautiful summer's evening with my lady on the weekend for some of the good cheer that I'm sure will be many smiling faces will be there doing the same in this beautiful outdoor setting this place offers as a historic establishment of interest, memories, friends, relationships, great menu supporting the high-schools and graduates for there future opportunities and colleagues who may be waiting on your table eager to serve you with hope a smile and possibly a little stage fright.

Don’t bother trying to call them. They use the stupidest automated answering service I have ever experienced. If you can bother to pick up the phone I won’t be bothering to come eat there.

Met for Sunday brunch today, with friends. It's been really good in the past, it's going down hill. We're all about supportino locally, but when the 28 dollar price tag doesn't match the product quality, we have a problem. We were, unfortunately, embarrassed to drag friends there, rave about it, and have them walk away dissapointed.Biggest thing is that the food was just ho-hum and the selection, wasn't there.

Great location for music, the newly renovated deck is awesome! The food is really good, too. Walk around the grounds, it's really beautiful!

I have been coming to the chart house for 20+years and have enjoyed everything from lobster dinner to their happy hours and hate to leave this review but, the food now is medicore at best. Save your self the money and get a steak for the same price at jensens supper club or cianti grill. The atmosphere is still great but food is no longer.

I went back to the chart house after many years away and had a great live musical experience but the food was very sub par (pretty certain the food oils they used caused me to feel like garbage and bloated….salad was soaked with water, etc).Service and music was great. Food quality was very disappointing, especially when their Eagan deli catering location has such great food and high quality.

Disappointed! First off- we had to phone in our reservation because the website was not operating for New Year’s Day, staff told us it should be- tried again and couldn’t- made our reservation with a staff member and when we arrived they had no reservation for us- fortunately the place was pretty empty on January 1st. .We were the only ones in the dining room- our waitress was very kind. Climate in the room was cold and when we asked to adjust- they did. It took a long time to get our food, basically burgers all around for our group of 5, burgers were over cooked, cold and dry, French fries were cold, Chicago beef sandwich was dried out overcooked and cold. Wedding soup was good and smoking hot- probably previously made and microwaved. I’m sad the chart house is loosing its good reputation of quality food and service- the fact that it was a holiday afternoon should not be an excuse.
