I shopped at the HOM furniture store in Bloomington Minnesota and worked with Sally J. she was fantastic!! patient, knowledgeable and great to work with!! I would recommend her and this store!

MOSTLY GOOD THE GOOD: Over the years I have purchased 2 large area rugs, a sectional, coffee table and end table, plus arm chair and ottoman from HOM. Pleasant sales interaction with all of them. Delivery was prompt and delivery folks were friendly. With the last 2 items (armchair and ottoman), we noticed the legs on the ottoman were damaged after unpacking them from delivery. I called Customer Service that same day and they promised to send out a new one which they did (it was in great condition, no damage) and picked up the old. THE NOT-SO-GOOD: Now my husband and I are shopping for a new mattress and the salesperson we have worked with twice seems knowledgeable about the products, however is intent on bad-mouthing competition. We have shopped around, read reviews, done comparisons, plus visited stores and looked online. We had it narrowed down to 2 brands and he made a face when we mentioned the other brand we were considering. He said HOM didn't sell that brand anymore, however was evasive when we asked why. He seemed annoyed when we asked more questions that he didn't have answers for. We finally left the store without purchasing anything. Mattresses are a higher-ticket item that you want to be satisfied with for a long time and we felt he was just pushing for the commission.

Michael was great! He showed us various options for king beds, and did a great job helping us find the right one to compliment accent pieces we already have. Then, when looking at mattresses, he was no-pressure and kept us moving if we made a decision about something we didn't like. He didn't try to convince us otherwise, just acknowledged what we said and moved on to the next best option!

Wonderful service from the time I was there to a few days later with my furniture delivered.Extremely patient I felt at ease and my salesman (Mike Schultz) in Lakeville was like talking with family. Very knowledgeable about all of the furniture. I love my new piece’s of furniture. Highly recommend!!!

We had an excellent experience shopping at Hom Furniture! We found the perfect dining table after several weeks of looking for a table. The table we found is gorgeous and is going to fit perfect with my other furniture and decor. I am still in the process of remodeling and decorating.Our salesperson Becky Alemu provided us with excellent customer service. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely patient with us. She went over and beyond when working with us.The delivery team did an excellent job! They were on time, and they did a great job setting my dining table up.We had an experience shopping at Hom Furniture.I will add more pictures when the kitchen is complete.

I bought a couch in February 2023. It was special ordered and not delivered until June. When it arrived one of the recliner pieces was defective. They ordered another and after my calling several times was told it would be delivered mid September. When September came close I called again and was told it would not be delivered til mid October or early November. I expressed my concern because I was leaving for TX in early November for 5 months. I was told if it was not delivered til November they would hold for us til we returned but they would press to have it delivered by October. Mid October no response and called again and was told now won’t be delivered til end of November. I was very upset that still no one from Hom Furniture called to give me updates and was told they would call the Manufacturer for an update and would call me the next day. NO CALL!! Called again and was told they didn’t call because the manufacturer has not gotten back to them. I said a quick call just giving me an update would be appreciated. Looks like I won’t get the replacement pieces until May and hopefully the pieces will match. For the price of the furniture I think other stores may offer better customer service and quality. .

Barb was wonderful in helping me decide on a new chair and coffee and end tables. The end tables look fabulous and I am looking forward to the arrival of our custom chair and the coffee tables. The ordering process was smooth and clear and Barb did a nice job explaining the timeline and delivery process (different for each piece)

Be very careful and avoid disappointment! We spent over $5,000 on a custom couch and single recliner. Being a custom order, coming all of the way from China, we waited three months for our furniture to arrive. We were very excited the day our furniture was finally going to be delivered. The single seater was unpacked and set up first. I noticed that the leather on one of the arm rests had been stretched out, as if a heavy load had been resting on it. The delivery person told me the warehouse said I could repair it by taking a heat gun to it. So for $5,000 I was expected to repair my own new furniture and I'm sure void any existing warranty. It only gets better! I was also informed that the couch had been damaged in the delivery truck and they wouldn't even bother unloading it. Needless to say both pieces ended up going back in the truck. I was told customer service would be contacting us in 45 minutes to an hour. Seven hours later I still had not been contacted, so I went into the store in person and cancelled the order. In the store they tried to get me to interact with the original sales person. I told them this was not a sales issue - in fact the actual sales experience was good. I was not willing to wait another three months for a replacement knowing that I could potentially have the same delivery issues again. It blows my mind that merchandise can make it half way around the world undamaged and then get wrecked while it is out for delivery. I have heard similar complaints from family and friends regarding Hom Furniture deliveries and should have heeded them. These lost sales must be costing Hom a ton of money, besides the bad publicity and lost potential future sales. I would hope that corporate gets their act together and take note. They are obviously cutting corners to keep delivery costs down and it is not working.

Very nice experience. Stopped to look at rugs in a specific size. They had it. Not only that but a huge selection to choose from. Not only that but a very helpful associate. Knowledge, and not pushy. I would recommend Hom Lakeville for your furniture, accessories and carpeting needs They even have great prices. You will not be disappointed.

The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful at this location. I appreciate that I didn’t feel pressured to buy at any point while I was there with my two young sons, who had a fantastic time pushing each other on the “strollers” provided by the store. They especially liked the cafe where they have refreshments, coffee and cookies. Mike Schultz was great to work with.

Montana is the sole reason I bought my dining room table, chairs and cabinet. She spent a tremendous amount of timing answering my questions, looking at options and explaining different choices. She listened (and heard) what I was looking to do with my dining room and helped me find a perfect choice.

She pointed out something about the cushions and pillows of our different couch options that we had not thought about.
